[text] attention everyone shut the hell up
I assume you have all educated yourselves on what Philemon's intentions and goals are for this city in his latest charade, or you would not be wasting your time humoring that ludicrous and insipid excuse for literature.
Now, what about Nyarlathotep? Have any of you figured out anything about his plans for this city, or are you more concerned with petty child's play?

text (NOT from Kaito's comp, for once!!!!!!!)
To that end, to understand his design for this place, one must understand this world as a whole.
Some have made an effort, but most have not.

I don't know what Nyarlathotep's plans are. I can only make logical guesses, based on information I learned from another.

The names certainly sound familiar, but unless I've found my way into a book I'm not sure what they mean in this context.

I thought Philemon sent the ones that went to that tower - I thought maybe we were sent to help. If nothing else, to at least spread some light to the place. Some hope. I honestly wanted to bring the people trapped there here, if I could.
...we couldn't. Whether that was Nyarlathotep's fault, whether it was all a wild goose chase from the start, whether it was the fault of the tower's administrators, or whether it was some combination of those, I can't say. I don't even know if we did anything at all.
But I can't...I can't let myself think like that. I just can't. I have to think that some kind of message at least got through...

And the books aren't that much of a waste of time. They're very quick reads.

I've looked him up awhile ago, when I got here. I kinda doubt anything Lovecraft has to say about him will answer your question, though.
My friends...ran into him too, when they went to that tower place.
[But it's...well, not interesting, that isn't the right word. It did pique his interest, though, that's for sure. The motives of the being opposite of Philemon, huh?]

They give us these fancy video phones, and all anybody wants to do on 'em is type. Never much saw the point in makin' somethin' as simple as conversation so damn hard on yourself.
[DeDeDe shakes his head. Not really fishing for a response for that statement in the first place, he just breezes right past it.]
So who's this Nyarly fella, then? Some other jackass that looks like he fell off a parade float or escaped from the circus?

I don't think many have figured out what plans he has just yet. But I have heard that he's previously gambled the fate of humanity on an experiment.
[That is, if Tatsuya's correct.]

[Can't deny he had a good chuckle at it, though.]
Though I can't say I heard much about the guy you mentioned. Take it he's our Big Bad of this situation or is it more complicated than that?

[Don't get her wrong, Lisa loves a good romance novel (and has a large collection in her apartment as she speaks), but not when it impacts her Chinyan.]
I don't know any more about Nyarlathotep being here than what Eikichi told me...
