[text] attention everyone shut the hell up
I assume you have all educated yourselves on what Philemon's intentions and goals are for this city in his latest charade, or you would not be wasting your time humoring that ludicrous and insipid excuse for literature.
Now, what about Nyarlathotep? Have any of you figured out anything about his plans for this city, or are you more concerned with petty child's play?

locked like a locked thing??
Is it so wrong to point out that their priorities may be a bit askew?
Especially since this tower venture was apparently so recent.
Are they so callous as to brush the critical moments aside in the favor of a teen romance novel?
ssshhhhhhhhh you can be mad here
You claim to not care about anything but your interests.
If that were truly the case, then why not gather those you worry for and leave this city? It is a spoken possibility. I do not know how one does it myself, but the option exists.
JOKER SMASH
And going back to our own world may as well be signing our own death warrants.
I don't care about their new game, but at least here we can stay together.
8o
that was literally the worst tag i've ever seen in my inbox
That's the only way our world can continue to exist.
We all agreed to it but
is it so wrong to take the chance to stay if it's available?
NOT SURE IF PROUD OR SUPREMELY GOMEN
That is not wrong.
And it is no worse than people taking solace here, in menial things. Growing stronger, working towards a goal. Trying to reach out and bond with others.
Do you see?
U SHOULD BE RLY GOMEN
They actually matter.
this is now video and still locked
One of my
[Alcor, eventually, shifts to video. He can't hope to express this with text, even if mankind's languages are lovely to look at. He doesn't seem to be actually in a building or anything, but is instead sitting with his back to a tree trunk.]
A dear friend of mine is one of them. He has nowhere to return to but the afterlife. Since arriving here, I have seen him grow and flourish beyond what he was capable of in our world. There have been ups and downs, and he has done trivial and pointless things. But, I'm...very proud of him. He has learned to be braver than I ever gave him credit for.
My dear friend is not the only one who has come here from a horrible point, nor are your friends the only ones Nyarlathotep has harmed so directly. You are no doubt aware of that.
[Alcor sighed, eyes fluttering closed.]
What is trivial to you may be all that is keeping someone else going. Please, have patience.
still text but also still locked
I don't CARE.
Why are you trying so hard to convince me of your own point of view?
wait you can exist without caffeine??????
You are still wounded from Nyarlathotep, I can see that in your will. And while I cannot ever claim to know what transpired, I am aware of him as a concept, and know what he is capable of doing.
I cannot expect you to care, however I do care. It is my design. I chose to watch over humanity, and I will not turn my back to a single one of you.
yeah for like an hour
I don't need someone like you watching over me-- or us.
so do you cringe whenever you see alker in jun's inbox or
You may not need it, but that does not mean I will stop.
My existence is to ensure that gods such as Nyarlathotep, or Eli, or Polaris do not push their will upon mankind.
And I will not give this duty up.
it's an odd mixture of jubilation and lament
I don't want you watching over me.
Perhaps you should take a look at what you're preventing them from doing before you do it yourself.
