I assume you have all educated yourselves on what Philemon's intentions and goals are for this city in his latest charade, or you would not be wasting your time humoring that ludicrous and insipid excuse for literature.

Now, what about Nyarlathotep? Have any of you figured out anything about his plans for this city, or are you more concerned with petty child's play?

Don't worry, I believe him. I already promised to help him investigate what's going on. We were going to ask Igor about everyone else disappearing, but then they all came back before the Velvet Room did.

It's not very often people are willing to believe that sort of thing.
I'm glad.

Igor is some sort of servant of Philemon; unfortunately, I don't even know if he'd have known much about it, if you were simply going to hunt down Nyarlathotep.
Then again, I'm not even sure if that was all there is to it.

To be honest, I'm not sure if worrying about hunting down either of them is the most relevant thing.

If they're both aspects of humanity, then "humanity" is the real problem. Philemon's picked us to help him. So, what has Nyarlathotep done?

That's what I want to know; aside from the incident with the tower, it doesn't seem like anyone has talked about anything he's done. But if Philemon's involved, that's simply impossible.

Though just because Philemon was the one that chose you doesn't mean you should so readily give him your loyalty.

So Nyarlathotep is usually more obvious?

There have been plenty of bad incidents. The Anoli are one thing, but there was also the scorpion invasion that no one's explained yet. But what I've also been thinking about is that if Philemon can bring people here, what if Nyarlathotep can, too? We already know he can visit other worlds.

Not obvious but more...proactive? I suppose that's as good a way to put it as any. He keeps himself hidden, but looking back, his path and intentions are clear.

...I believe Nyarlathotep may have the power to give people Persona as well-- if that's a power they share, I don't see why he can't bring people here as well. In which case, things might turn out more dangerous if he picks and chooses his own.

That means it's possible he's already behind some things, like the Anoli or their attacks.

That's looking to be the most probable thing. More than just the Anoli, if he was also behind that tower attack.

It'd turned out he was hiding in plain sight the whole time.
It wasn't our actions that uncovered him; he simply chose to present himself to us. Likely so he could gloat.

So... then you don't know how to find him or force him to face us?

Not exactly. I'm not sure it'd be wise to force him to face us anyway.
Not at this point at least.

So what do you want us to do?

I want to figure out what he's doing.
If that means we discover his new face, that's a bonus.
I want to know what he's doing and plan again him before he has the chance to surprise us.

Then I'll help however I can.
My team used Personas before Hinoto-ri - we never met Philemon, but we faced something like Nyarlathotep, or with consequences just as bad, anyway. I'm not ready to stand back and do nothing now.

For whatever reason, it seems encounters with Philemon are less frequent than encounters with Nyarlathotep.
It's interesting to see each of their modus operandi at least.
I'll admit, it's surprising to hear about other Persona-users besides the ones that we knew at home.
But I'm glad to have your stance and your help regardless.
I suppose it would be superfluous that it'll certainly require that kind of determination.

I was surprised too, but it honestly makes more sense this way. Persona has probably been around as long as people have.
