Hey guys! So I have a favor to ask everyone.

Apollo's birthday is at the end of the month and I know there's still time to do this, but I feel like I should at least start planning. I really want to throw Apollo a surprise party, so I would like to invite everyone to it once it does come. I also would like any help if any one is willing to help me set it up. If not it's cool. I can handle it.

My other purpose for this is that I need ideas for a birthday gift. I have an idea of what I would like to get him, but I don't think it's possible to get it here with no job. Any ideas would be really helpful, though.

Oh, now that I'm thinking of it and I have you all here.... I'll eventually look for a more permanent job, but is there any odd jobs I can do to earn some money around here?

I'm looking for volunteers to join me on an expedition to investigate the ruins in the Gemini district. It's likely to be dangerous, so I'd prefer people with some combat experience. But the trapezohedron was found in that ruin, so I think it'll be worth the trip. Let me know if you're interested.

[She's about to go back to adjusting one of her dingbots when she remembers one other thing.]

And on a side note, the people I gave those experimental weapons to still haven't reported back. Did they work well enough? Did you experience any difficulties?

[Kaguya is making one of her rare appearances over the network today. This time, she's showing the interior of her small apartment, which is starting to look pretty cramped. Between all the decor, clothing, bonsai, and other miscellaneous things, it's clear that she needs something bigger. Which is why she's appearing on the network.

Cramped or not, she doesn't seem to look irritated or anything. As always, she's almost eerily calm.]

Good evening, everyone! I hope you're all enjoying the warmer weather and looking forward to spring as much as I am! The birds are chirping, the flowers are blooming... and just like the flowers, our city is slowly coming back, too! Thanks to the Visitors' help, electricity has been restored to the entire city, and the subway system is almost fully operational again. There are still some buildings that are damaged, but with everyone pitching in, I'm sure we'll be able to get everything fixed up soon. So let's all roll up our sleeves and do our best!

[There were many things that Kanji didn't like bringing out in the public. One of them being that he knew of Ted's...-ahem- tendencies to latch on to girls, and he didn't want someone like Nano disappointed. I mean, it's not like he considered her a friend or something (but yes he did. Running an inn together does that.) He just wants to make sure that his little fuzzy friend's real serious about this. So a little after he's had this conversation, Kanji attempts to send a private post to Teddie...but fails. Someday. Someday he'd realize he can change the settings properly.]

[The feed switches on to the sight of one (1) agitated lineface and her uncle, seemingly poring over Jack's COMP. Agatha looks a mite bit more irritated than usual, and Jack... looks like he's lost in concentration.]

...There is no shame in asking for help - ah, especially since the COMP already appears to be on. How did you even manage that, Uncle?

I... ... I don't know, actually. All I did was touch a few things over here... [Jack points, dejectedly, off to one side of the screen.]

[She shakes her head and then nods at the 'camera' as it were.]

[She glances over to Jack, who looks back at her with a lopsided smile and a soft 'eheheh...'.] ... I'm not really much of a teacher, so if someone could explain how this thing works to him? [ She's been sparse with using this network of things for help, but from her recent adventures in the 13th Hour, she's realized it's inconvenient to not have an unlimited stock of ammunition and guns to throw away at her expense. It's not quite 'normal' to go up to someone and ask for a gun or bullets. She still had the appearance for a kid, even if she had gone through so many Aprils.

It's down to this, then. ]

What's the easiest way to obtain ammunition? Also, I'd like to know how easy it is to find a job. I imagine any rounds will cost money no matter what and I currently do not have the resources to purchase them at the moment.

I have been in this city for a little over a month. So far, I have met a great number of humans, and others who, despite appearing similar to humans, are something else entirely. I must admit, this is something that interests me. What sorts of creatures live in Hinoto-Ri? What manner of anatomical diversity can be found here? I would appreciate any and all information available.

[This is the kind of knowledge that's crucial to someone like him, after all.]

Still, there is something on his mind, and he has seen enough to know that there are some people who come here from worlds very different than his own. Has anyone seen a little fox-like creature around here? He's yellow, he's got a white muzzle, red fur coming out of his ears, and a red tip on his tail. He responds to Fei. If anyone has seen him, please let me know! He's a creature called a Pact- no, a Pokemon! A Pokemon, that's right!

The Perils of Academia

As the feed switches on, it reveals Desco, wearing a unusual outfit. Her normal dress-like arrangement of chitin, spines, and eyes is gone, replaced with a crisp white blouse with medium-length sleeves and a sharply-pressed black skirt. Perched over her red eyes is a set of round, wire-rimmed spectacles. The overall effect is that of an efficient, no-nonsense secretary, or perhaps an overly strict teacher.

Who happens to be four years old, but there's not much Desco can do about that.

"Listen up, students! Your munificent Queen has remembered she has a day job as a highly-paid teacher at Netherworld Institute Evil Academy! And if she wants to continue drawing medical benefits, she has to slack off and teach something other than her specialty of applied Minionology!"

With that, she thumps the ruler in her hand against the easel behind her.

"That is why today, Desco will be teaching the basics of Little Sister Moe! When Desco finishes drilling knowledge into your empty skulls, you will know EVERYTHING about the duties of a Little Sister!"

Sixth Star of Fate ☯

Since it's coming up soon, I've been wondering... Would anyone be interested in getting together to make chocolates for this year's Valentine's Day? I'm not sure how many of you are familiar with the day itself, but where I come from at least, it's traditional for girls to give chocolates or chocolate baked goods to the boys they like. Of course, it's nice to make sweets for your friends and family as well.

Since last year got a little... hectic around this time, I think it would probably be best if we did it on the twelfth. It's a little bit early, but I think as long as we're careful, it should keep long enough for Valentine's Day on the fourteenth.

I will be asking teachers at the Phoenix Free School if we can possibly use the home economics room, meaning this will also be open to Visitors and residents alike. I think it would be good for all types of students to have an opportunity to get together and prepare for the holiday.

Even if you don't have any experience with cooking or aren't confident in your abilities, please consider coming! I'm best with simple things myself, so if it's a matter of making those, I would be happy to help. And if those who have more experience would like to come and help teach others, that would also be appreciated!

[A certain minty-haired Visitor is on the screen today, his arm around the shoulders of a brown haired kid who may be familiar to some. Judging by the voices in the background, there’s about four people in all, even if they aren’t all visible on the camera ~~yet~~.]

Hey! Lately, people have been coming by the Detective Agency thinking it’s functional again. At first we turned down requests since we’re obviously not detectives, but...

Well, maybe you should say it instead, Ayumu?

[Ayumu is pretty much resigned at this point, though his expression clearly seems to have some doubts about the wisdom of this idea. They were a bunch of kids and a tanuki, after all. Who’d go looking to them for help?]
