Case 1: Here Comes Justice... Again! [Video]

[A very flustered-looking Apollo Justice is on the camera today, his hair points drooping every which way as they are prone to do when Apollo is in such a state. Apollo speaks rapidly, apparently not caring if he has to repeat himself or if he sounds unintelligible.]

Wh-what happened?! It wasn't March when I was last here! What am I doing back here, and more importantly, does anyone know how I left?!

[Deeeeeep breath.]

Prosecutor Blackquill! I know we didn't get to talk much when we first met, but I know who you are now! If you're still here, that is.

Can someone catch me up on what I've missed? A rundown on everything from December onward would be great. Also, has anyone seen Genevieve? You know, the redheaded pixie who was following me around after her trial?

[Athena was still trying to get the hang of everything here. She was currently trying to tidy up her apartment to her liking until she heard her COMP go off. At first, Athena thought nothing of it. After all, she was still getting used to it. Once she heard a familiar voice, she stopped what she was doing to glance over to where her COMP was sitting. Was that... Apollo? Simon didn't say anything about Apollo being here... it couldn't be...]

[She was just hearing things... Or so she told herself even though she had excellent hearing. So she just started to work on tidying again until she heard Blackquill. Okay! It had to be him! Rushing over to the COMP, she noticed that it really was him.]

Apollo! Calm down!

Wait... Last time you were.... You were here before? But I just saw you a few days ago...

[Back home that is. If he looks closely enough, she doesn't seem to be wearing her normal yellow jacket. She still has it, but it's on her bed currently. Instead, she's wearing a familiar looking blue and white jecket.]

Wha- Athena! You're here too?! I was here about a few months ago, if I'm calculating the dates right, but...

[And then Apollo does the exact opposite of calm down.]

How recently did you come here? Has anyone filled you in on what's going on? Do you know how to use your Persona? Heck, do you even know what a Persona is?

[No one has explained to her that time stopped back home. So hearing him say he'd been here a few months a go was weird.]

I just got here a few days ago. Simon has told me the basics, but I don't know how to use my Persona yet.

Oh, good. So that means Prosecutor Blackquill is still here? Maybe I'll teach you how to use your Persona once I get settled.

[And that time issue is going to be remedied right now.]

By the way, in case you were wondering, time flows kind of weirdly between here and other worlds, so even though you just saw me a little while ago... well, wait, I probably would still have been back home. But yeah, I was here a few months ago, and I'm guessing I was home long enough for all the events to transpire.

[Beat.]

Er. All the events HAVE transpired, right? You know about the Phantom and everything? While I'm at it, do you know if Simon is from the same point in time?

[She found that out right as she got here... Luckily her apartment wasn't much further than his.]

Well... I was told that people were from different worlds here, but I didn't know how time is back home while here.

Yeah, everything was taken care of. Simon is from the same time point as me.

[Oh... She should probably tell him...]

Uhm.. Actually about that.... The Phantom.... He's here....

Yeah, people are from lots of different worlds. Expect to meet a few non-humans while you're here. Heck, I was defending demons for a little while before I left.

[And then Apollo's face just falls.]

The Phantom is... here?

[His fists clench and rage creeps into every aspect of his body.]

That scumbag is HERE?! Are you freaking kidding me?! I mean, I know he was just incarcerated and not executed, but...! What are we gonna do? We obviously can't kill him ourselves, and all the relevant proof is back home! [He's beside himself.]

[Welp, he wasn't taking it much better than Athena did. Except Apollo was much more mad than she was. Athena was mostly dictated by fear on top of anger.]

Yeah... After Simon filled me in... I went to explore. I saw him trying to get a cat of the tree, but he's feigning ignorance. He's acting like he doesn't know who I am....

All Simon and I can do is keep a close eye on him.

[And that pisses her off. Letting out an exasperated sigh...]

"...Say what? I know this stuff is par for the course for this place, but... come again?"

"In December, something called Shadows attacked - apparently they were the parts of people they didn't want to admit to. It was kind of a mess. January, it was the 22nd for an entire week - I actually helped deal with that by killing some monsters in a phantom circus. And last month, for Valentine's Day, the fairies kidnapped a bunch of people and threw them into a love hotel so they could make comic books about us."

Slight pause as she holds up a slim volume.

"They did give us complimentary copies, at least."

"Oh, great. That sounds like a mess. I don't know if I should be glad I missed out on all that or not."

The jury is totally out on whether Apollo missed this place or not.

"It wasn't all bad. After I devoured my Shadow my Persona became stronger."

...'devoured'.

Yeah, no, he's not gonna let that slide.

"Devoured? That sounds like it calls for explanation."

A shrug.

"It got stabbed with one of my poisoned knives, and while it was still paralyzed I had my God Arc eat it whole."

I'm not sure if I have seen this Genevieve, although I have met pixies. What does she look like?

Well... her hair is a bit redder and longer than most Pixies' are. She's still wearing the standard sort of uniform, though. The purple leotard and all that.

Ah. Then perhaps... it was not her.

It's for the best. The pixies I met were quite unpleasant.

Really? What'd they do to you? I guess I've lucked out, given that I got their respect by winning a trial for them.

They kidnapped people in pairs and coerced them to be intimate with each other.

Okay, if they ask me to defend them over this, I might have to politely decline.
