For those who have joined us only recently: welcome to Hinoto-Ri. Attached to this message are two documents: the Astrology Master Document and the Event Master Document. In Hinoto-Ri, it is important to arm yourself with knowledge regarding your astrological sign in order to prepare yourself for battles against certain demons, which have thus far been based on a single sign from the western horoscope common to planet Earth. If you are uncertain of your sign, your ID card should have that information.
So far, we have encountered Scorpio, Taurus, and Virgo. Information about the effects these demons had on the populace can be found in the Astrology Master Document. However, since certain information is lacking, if anyone who was present for those attacks could fill in data from their own experiences, it would be appreciated.
The Event Master Document covers all other events that have occurred. These are unrelated to the astrology-based demon attacks, but many of them are still caused by demons. Reading it over should give you an idea of what to expect in this place. However, like the Astrology Master Document, it relies on information input by Visitors regarding their own experiences; if you have anything relevant to add, please do so. Both documents are open to editing from anyone who has access to them.
Due to the Virgo event, the documents were restored to a prior point in order to remove vandalism. If any important and relevant notes were lost in that process, please add them as necessary.
Other items of note:
The Hinoto-Ri government has been working on weapons to destroy astrology-based demons, which would render Visitor help unnecessary. However, so far that weapon has been found to be insufficient.

1st Devouring
The feed snaps on to reveal a woman with dark hair and bright red eyes, dressed in a heavy tanktop and pants. There's a massive red bracelet on her right arm, and leaning against the wall behind her is a sword at least as long as she is tall.
"Hello. My name is Lieutenant Sarah Snowdon, Fenrir Far East Branch - I am a new resident who came here by way of Geartopia. My medical exams have been cleared and I've been given a clean bill of health. I look forward to working with the rest of you in defending this city."
She relaxes minutely after delivering the rigid, rapid-fire introduction, and her next statement is much less painfully formal.
"Alright then, now that the formalities are out of the way, I think I should get down to the actual reason for this broadcast."
She steps out of the direct video feed at this and gestures to the giant sword behind her.
"This is my personal weapon, a God Arc. It's an extremely dangerous weapon, so I need to explain some basic safety precautions concerning it, since I can't rely on them being common knowledge here."
She leans in, emphasizing her words.
"Never touch it. Every God Arc is genetically attuned to exactly one person and can never be safely used by anyone else. The best case scenario is simply that my Arc will devour you if it's touched. The worst case scenario..."
She trails off at that, her eyes going distant before she turns back to the feed.
"There are worse fates than mere death. Thank you for your time."

[Yeah, this is starting out great. There is a reason why Sam doesn't talk on the network often, and that is because he's pretty much the most awkward young man you've ever seen. He glances away from the camera, as if embarrassed by what he's going to say next.]
So...Halloween is coming soon, right? Just a few days...I just had a couple questions for people because I was, well, kind of curious. First of all...what is Halloween like where you come from? On Earth, it used to be the day when the dead would walk the earth and rituals were performed not to make them angry...but I'm guessing it's different in other places, right? And if you don't have a Halloween...well, I guess that's okay too. It's a pretty cool holiday, though.

And this is a silly question, but...I really have no idea what to wear for Halloween. Do any of you have any good suggestions? Something easy to do would be nice. I don't want to spend too much time on it.

[There are two people on the feed today! It looks like Hizumi’s using his COMP to broadcast. He’s got his arm around the shoulders of a certain unfortunate soul as he gives a jaunty wave towards the camera, looking, if possible, even more excited than he usually is.]
Yo! Someone new decided to come along with when we left Geartopia, so I figured it would be good to introduce him to everyone!
[That unlucky individual has a slightly put upon expression on his face in spite of seemingly allowing the hand on his shoulder. Really, he hadn’t signed up for something like this when he came along….] Hey, cut it out--
[Cut it out? Hizumi? Never. Instead, he interrupts with:] His name is Ayumu Narumi, and he’s from my world, so treat him nicely, okay? He might look grumpy, but he’s a good person!
[What a pain There’s a quiet, nearly inaudible mutter of ‘idiot’ from Ayumu at the oddball introduction. Compared to Hizumi’s energy, the brunette in the video is almost downright gloomy in the air around him and that long suffering expression only fades after Hizumi finishes speaking. His next words are polite, if lacking in the energy of the other teen beside him.] It’s good to meet you all. Sorry about this guy hijacking the airwaves for something like this.

Which means he hasn't been quite as particular about how he presents himself; there's a few stray curly strands of hair that've almost escaped his usually tight little ponytail, and he... looks like he's wearing eye makeup. Which, ironically, is because he's neglected to put any on.

Hello! I hope everyone made it back safe and sound. I thought this would be a good time to introduce myself - my name is Isabelle, another Visitor like you all, and Mayor Sakahagi's new assistant! I'll be working with Miss Junko to represent the concerns of the Visitors in the city, so if there's anything you would like to say to the Mayor or suggestions you might have for the city, please let me know and I'll make sure he sees them. I know some of you were worried about the meeting the Mayor was having before with some of the citizens of the city who were concerned about the Visitors, so I'm here to report the results of that meeting so no one will have to worry.
[She reaches for a stack of papers, shuffling through it for several seconds more than is probably strictly necessary.]

First, it's been decided that all Visitors of the appropriate age need to attend school - that's elementary up through high school. Anyone old enough to have graduated high school is free to enroll in one of the city's higher education facilities, but that's their own choice!
Second, there is no curfew for Visitors because of the need to protect the city during the 13th Hour. However, very young Visitors under the age of 10 will need to have a parent or guardian with them. This does not apply to demons, ghosts, robots, clones, or Visitors who may have been created recently as part of a laboratory experiment. If there's any question about whether the curfew would apply to you, feel free to ask!
Third, the Mayor would like me to remind you all that the legal drinking age in the city is 20, and that this will be enforced the same way for the Visitors it is for permanent residents.
And last, as a matter of public decency, anyone with a, um... [she blushes again at this point, averting her eyes from the camera] ...uh, visually questionable Persona... should try to avoid calling it out during the day, especially when there are children around. There are demons and other scary monsters in the city, but the Mayor is concerned about protecting our youth.

Um... and that's all! I've also prepared a Visitor satisfaction survey to get an idea of how you are all enjoying daily life in Hinoto-Ri. Telephones, television, or anything that requires the network (like that online game you may have been playing). Citizens are walking in the streets trying to figure out what happened, while others go to city halls for clearer answers, which no one seems to have. It's not a general panic...more just a city that relies on communication to be suddenly without any. In a place that they already feel alone, the panic can be justified.
A few people have risen to the challenge. Those with intel persona are able to contact a few and information tickles through. There's not much to say, but the rumors seem to mention that SOMETHING happened at the MAGI building. The problem is that citizens do not all agree where that is.]

City-Wide Illness Confirmed, Related to the Virgo Monster
Residents of the City are bracing for the worst, after the standoff between the Visitors and the Virgo monster came to an abrupt end. Investigations are still ongoing about the mysterious illness that struck many citizens and visitors alike, but the source has been confirmed as the creature itself.
The death toll from the demons and humans who were affected is now at six—a policeman, a member of the Staff of Swords, and four civilians. At least 94 are reportedly wounded - mostly civilians.

City-Wide Illness Confirmed, Related to the Virgo Monster
Residents of the City are bracing for the worst, after the standoff between the Visitors and the Virgo monster came to an abrupt end. Investigations are still ongoing about the mysterious illness that struck many citizens and visitors alike, but the source has been confirmed as the creature itself.

i know it's a greeting gesture in some cultures, but there are also other connotations and it's just plain confusing. no explanation was given, either. it's just really confusing and i don't get it.

So... how to put this... I guess this is a PSA.
Be careful of this guy. I just walked in on him stealing a ton of food out of my apartment, and he escaped through the window. It probably doesn't matter how high up you are, either - I'm on the 11th floor and it looks like he got away just fine.
Also, if you do run into him and have a justice streak, I wouldn't mind someone helping me get my stuff back. That's enough to last a week, easy.

It is also worth noting that there is an attached photo featuring a masked Sam taking food out of a fridge in case anyone wants further proof.]
