here's a question for the network:
why would an ally kiss you on the cheek?
i know it's a greeting gesture in some cultures, but there are also other connotations and it's just plain confusing. no explanation was given, either. it's just really confusing and i don't get it.
thx for any insights anyone might have.

i don't think that would be a good idea. this person is
[....]
i do not know what to say.
[404 error brain not found. She feels sick, but kind of a good sick if that makes any sense? Like a fever but comfortable. Except for the part where she totally needs to dunk her head in some ice water.]
i do not understand any of this and thinking about it causes some kind of emotion i don't get. think it would be best if this topic of conversation ceased.

Whether it's another kind of 'like' depends more on the context, though.

So, how about some context? Did you buy them flowers? Do something nice?
After all, in some cultures, kisses are a display of gratitude.

we were just talking.
why did you have to mention flowers.
txt; anon
Oh? Don't you like flowers?
But, anyway. What manner of talking? Did you lend her an ear to one of her problems? Speak about something that made her happy?
txt; anon
not okay.
