Case 1: Here Comes Justice... Again! [Video]

[A very flustered-looking Apollo Justice is on the camera today, his hair points drooping every which way as they are prone to do when Apollo is in such a state. Apollo speaks rapidly, apparently not caring if he has to repeat himself or if he sounds unintelligible.]

Wh-what happened?! It wasn't March when I was last here! What am I doing back here, and more importantly, does anyone know how I left?!

[Deeeeeep breath.]

Prosecutor Blackquill! I know we didn't get to talk much when we first met, but I know who you are now! If you're still here, that is.

Can someone catch me up on what I've missed? A rundown on everything from December onward would be great. Also, has anyone seen Genevieve? You know, the redheaded pixie who was following me around after her trial?

[No one has explained to her that time stopped back home. So hearing him say he'd been here a few months a go was weird.]

I just got here a few days ago. Simon has told me the basics, but I don't know how to use my Persona yet.

Oh, good. So that means Prosecutor Blackquill is still here? Maybe I'll teach you how to use your Persona once I get settled.

[And that time issue is going to be remedied right now.]

By the way, in case you were wondering, time flows kind of weirdly between here and other worlds, so even though you just saw me a little while ago... well, wait, I probably would still have been back home. But yeah, I was here a few months ago, and I'm guessing I was home long enough for all the events to transpire.

[Beat.]

Er. All the events HAVE transpired, right? You know about the Phantom and everything? While I'm at it, do you know if Simon is from the same point in time?

Yeah.... Uhm...

[She found that out right as she got here... Luckily her apartment wasn't much further than his.]

Well... I was told that people were from different worlds here, but I didn't know how time is back home while here.

Yeah, everything was taken care of. Simon is from the same time point as me.

Yeah, people are from lots of different worlds. Expect to meet a few non-humans while you're here. Heck, I was defending demons for a little while before I left.

[And then Apollo's face just falls.]

The Phantom is... here?

[His fists clench and rage creeps into every aspect of his body.]

That scumbag is HERE?! Are you freaking kidding me?! I mean, I know he was just incarcerated and not executed, but...! What are we gonna do? We obviously can't kill him ourselves, and all the relevant proof is back home! [He's beside himself.]

[Welp, he wasn't taking it much better than Athena did. Except Apollo was much more mad than she was. Athena was mostly dictated by fear on top of anger.]

Yeah... After Simon filled me in... I went to explore. I saw him trying to get a cat of the tree, but he's feigning ignorance. He's acting like he doesn't know who I am....

All Simon and I can do is keep a close eye on him.

[And that pisses her off. Letting out an exasperated sigh...]

I'd like to say that's for the best, but who knows when he'll try and move against us? He might try to kill us while we're here, and then there'll be no going home for us!

[A deep groooooooowl of rage, frustration, and nerves.]

Dammit, what are we going to do aside from watch him? I'd challenge him to a duel if I could! But... my persona isn't really made for combat and that probably wouldn't solve anything.

[Oh no... Athena was very upset when she heard but not this upset. She did sympthize with him though.... She had the same fears. Although she was more concerned about the other innocent lives here rather than herself.]

Apollo! You're fine! Where are you now?

Will the two of you not use privacy filters for these conversations?!

Back to basics, both of you. Lesson one: never reveal your weapon to the enemy until the time is right. You are lawyers. Knowledge is your weapon.

Well, pardon me for being a little freaked out that my best friend's killer and the killer of a ton of other people is here! Athena said she already saw him, so I bet he knows we're keeping an eye on him anyway.

Oh he knows for damn sure that we are. I made that clear. I'm not going to stand for his bullshit. He'll mess up eventually. I just know it.

Of course he does, but that doesn't mean you need to broadcast details.

And Justice-dono, do you not think that I am also very angry about this?

[His left eye twitches, and he reaches to his side as if to draw a sword.]

[Don't think Apollo didn't notice that eye twitch. He's just gonna baaaaaack off now.]

Um. N-No, I get it! Really, I do! Especially now that I know everything about what happened...

[Scary Blackquill is scary oh no please don't slash him through the screen]

[And now she's clutching onto her own Hat-1 coat that she discovered in her room while cleaning. She'd been wearing it since she'd found it.]

Do not engage him if you can help it. Watch him, but do not enable his behavior.

Athena, is that...? [Apollo reaches off screen and pulls a similar jacket over to him.] Mine got sent with me, too. Er, Clay's.

Rest assured, Prosecutor Blackquill, I don't intend to even look at the guy if I can help it. Er, except for the watching bit, I mean. But I won't engage him. My Persona's not really meant for battle anyway.

[Nodding.]

... Yeah... I found it when I was cleaning up my apartment...

[Clutching her arm, she couldn't help but feel sad. She usually just shrugged it off and acted like she was totally fine but... Now she had her earring, Widget, and her mother's jacket to remember her by.]

I promise to behave myself. I really don't want to deal with him anyways.

... That said, we should work on establishing some kind of recognition system.

Recognition system...? Could you explain what you mean by that?

Documenting just who "Bobby" becomes, right? Not only that, it might not hurt to look at behavioral things. What are some habits or ticks? What does he usually do around here. Recon in short.

In addition to that... we don't know what disguises he may have. We can't allow him to pretend to be one of us.

Alright, that makes sense! I know he does stuff with his fingers... remember how I caught him fidgeting with his holster when he talked about the lighter-gun? You could keep an eye out for things like that.

Well, whatever happens, I'm sure we'll be able to protect the people here and make sure he stays out of trouble.
