The feed snaps on to reveal a little girl with horns and three eyes staring into the camera, her face twisted up into an angry sort of scowl. Without any preamble, she launches into an angry tirade.

"What is the corrupternment here doing?! Desco is getting fed up with how badly the political process is being mangled in this town! It offends her pride as a former senator!"

She crosses her arms over her chest and harrumphs angrily.

"Desco made a standard speech and used all the normal political boilerplate, and the humans she was talking to became a mob! And not even the useful kind - it was a panicked mob! Mr. Green Hair said that it was because Desco scared them!"

She starts gnawing distractedly on the tip one claw, still scowling.

"What is going on that the humans here are afraid of the political process? It's stupid! Next you will be telling Desco that the officials are elected or something, instead of just overthrowing the previous regime!"

An Abundance of C/An Important Question [Video]

When the video starts, one will see Shoutarou standing outside of a pool hall - he adjusts his hat a bit before speaking.

"Hello, Hinoto-Ri. The name's Hidari Shoutarou, and I'm here with some news for you all, and a couple of questions.

To start, a rather unexpected thing has happened - whatever strange powers surround this place have seen fit to bring my detective agency building here. I suppose that means I'm stuck here for the long haul, I may as well start offering my services as a private detective. Just come see me in Pisces district, at the Narumi Detective Agency."

There's a pause, then Shou frowns and huffs. "...of course, whoever brought it here has a hell of a sense of humor, and put it across the street from the other Narumi Detective Agency..." The camera jerks, and points to the other one for a moment.

"The city's still working on getting power connected to the building, but I'm gonna call it open for business anyway now that I've moved in."

He clears his throat, and looks just a little more serious. "As for the questions - has anyone here heard of the Transmigration 9? It was where I was before I wound up here. Just wondering if any other crewmembers are here. My other question..." His face turns a bit awkward at this point. "...does anyone have any advice on taking care of a kitten? I've dealt with an adult cat that knows how to behave already before, to a degree, but a kitten is outside my experience."

Hello, Hinoto-Ri. A lot has occurred recently, hasn't it? I heard there had been a mystical journey to an alternative world! I wish I could have gone. It would have been amazing to see the denizens of the other world, to see how they lived and acted... differences occur in different worlds, as Hinoto-Ri is-

Oh, my apologies. I have rambled.

In any case, I am certain that many of you have discussed the events that have passed extensively between yourselves. My discussion is of a trivial, yet very important matter! A recent conversation has made me ponder over something that still eludes me, and relates to my previous comments on how my world, and Hinoto-Ri, are very different from one another.

What is fashion?

I did not know what this was when first arriving here, but I have read and researched the subject, and fashion seems to be a very important cultural and social aspect of humanity! Just having the correct clothes, worn in the correct way, with the correct brand allows you to climb the social ladder with ease! I don't really understand it, but the concept of it fascinates me!

I would love to hear your opinions on it! Let us begin a discussion!

Sheesh... All this Junes Invasion stuff has really gotten out of hand for the police!

[Behind Adachi is another officer trying to calm down a rabid fangirl. It isn't working out too well.]

But before that, I guess I should introduce myself! I've been having to go around town a lot, especially since all this mess started, yet I don't remember doing too much introducing and whatnot... I'm-- [Seriously? One of the girl's sharp yells cuts off Adachi, and he glances behind him.] --ah, hey! Come on, you can't just headbutt an officer!

[Adachi grimaces.] ...I better make this quick, then. I'm Adachi, and... [More and more keeps on happening over his shoulder.] Don't worry about this mess. We've got it covered!

[Yet, he still nervously glances behind himself to check up on it before back down at his COMP.] Y-Yeah, you can count on the Hinoto-Ri police! Now, if you'll excuse me... [However, a few seconds before he cuts off the feed, the sort of riot isn't settling...] H-He-- [Then it blacks out.]

[Kanji is...admittedly really bad at keeping up with the times around here. He'd been way too concentrated on getting his little plush toy booth up and running in the Scorpio district, spending most of the week after his return from the tower in his room, working diligently. Unfortunately, he'd soon realize the folly of his ways and that that it would have better for him to do so, considering the strange events that have been happening all day when he finally did go out...in the afternoon, he finally posted something on the network.]

This might seem like a strange question to ask, but has anyone else be approached by the girls and...older women from the city asking you to bite them? It's freaking me out....

[He had to run away from a crowd at one point. For someone who always had trouble with girls, this is an even worse personal experience. But maybe if he'd actually listened to Yu's dramatic reading, or gone to Junes this week Kanji would have had a good idea of what is going on. Right now, there is only confusion. That would probably change soon.]

are there any good fabric stores around the city? i'm starting to run a little low on supplies, and this place seems like it has a lot of variety to offer. additionally, how does one go about finding a job? i'd hate to be sitting around here on the governments dime without actually contributing anything to the city... plus some extra money wouldn't be too bad.

[Yukiko is out and about getting ideas for that specific day. One in particular: cakes. Normally she would think about making one from scratch but somehow it always messes up. Besides, it wouldn't be just for the birthday boy but anyone else who comes. There is no way she wants to be responsible if anyone gets sick off her cooking even if she has been improving a bit. Not taking any chances. So she'll be looking at bakeries and see what kinds of goodies they have.]

[She already has an idea what kind of present to get but it's hard to choose just one.

Her dilemma: picking a cat.

How can she choose just one?! They're all so cute! Those faces are like 'Pick me! Take me home!' How do people choose so easily??]

[Xion looks to be a bit of a mess. Her hair is tousled, there's a small bruise rising along her cheekbone and a few scratch marks, nothing bad enough to draw blood at least, but enough to leave bright red marks. But more than anything the expression on her face is supremely tense and frustrated. There's also the sound of someone moving in the background, though they seem to be cleaning up.]

If you're in that stupid book, be careful. If they find out where you live they might try to find a way into your house and they don't like being told to leave.

[Especially by a girl who could easily be a "rival."These fangirls are nuts and she is utterly sick of them already.

There's a brief pause as the person offscreen makes some comment that can't entirely be heard, though the irritated words "need to be 'shown' the door" can be made out. Those who recognize voices might recognize that it's Xehanort. She sighs briefly through her nose in exasperation.]

Yeah, no kidding.

[Terra, Aqua, guys can we please figure out a way to keep them out.]

Anyway, guys I'm going to be home late tonight. I'm supposed to check out this new club for somebody.

[She seems similarly unsure about the prospect. She half turns her head to look at someone, presumably the person moving earlier, saying "Do you think-" as the feed shuts off.]

[ Good afternoon, Hinoto-Ri! The feed opens to the aerial tramway; the platform blurs in and out of focus, eventually settling on a pair of teenage boys. The influx of newcomers is nothing new, but this group might be familiar to some. They aren't freshly new, but they still don't fully understand their situation.

As another voice addresses the network directly, acting as the leader of the bunch, the redhead on screen fusses with his watch. This prompts the purple-haired boy leans over to see, an imposing and trademark halberd resting at his shoulder. ]

Ah... Hello everyone! I'm Hinata, and this is Otonashi and Noda, look over here and wave, holding our first... "Afterlife Level 2" meeting, at... where is this again..? Ahh, this says Pisces...

Oh, the tramway station in Pisces!

We're looking for the other members of our battlefront! I've already found Otonashi and this idiot... So if anyone sees someone with a uniform like ours, or with a uh... Otonashi, can you turn to the side for a second? [ The redheaded boy turns to the side as he's asked, and the owner of the watch gets closer to show off, albeit haphazardly, the patch on his companion's jacket. ] If anyone recognizes this patch, or has seen anyone with it, please tell us!

[His wonderful plan of letting himself get mauled during the Thirteenth Hour didn't exactly work, so now he's just hanging around the city. He really should get a job; the extra money from the government that had been waiting for his return would pay for food for a little while, but not long. Still, it's hard to be motivated to apply when you can't even really bring yourself to want to socialize at all.

Aah, and his favorite arcade got ransacked recently too. He doesn't even have a good distraction to keep his thoughts at bay and, more importantly...

[The video feed flicks on to show DeDeDe standing in front of a well-stocked bar. The lighting is low at the moment, as there's still no electricity in the club, but enough sunlight is filtering through the windows to make the scene visible. The massive penguin man quirks an eyebrow and gives a small upnod before offering a casual wave.]

Afternoon, Hinoto-Ri. Seems this city's even more generous than I thought.

[He gestures behind him.]

It's seen fit to return a little business venture I was runnin' back home. Now I've never been one to look a gift horse in the mouth, and seein' as it's here and I'm here, I'm plannin' to reopen for business in a couple of weeks. This here's the Penguin's Nest, in the Taurus District right down the same street as that pirate bar and Nyx's place. I'm lookin' to turn it into a respectable establishment where adults can go to enjoy a few drinks, a little music, and the pleasure of each other's company.

[In other words, it's a sex club.]

'Course, a place like this don't just run itself, so I'm lookin' for some local talent to help me keep the place up. Bartenders, bouncers, dancers, musicians... you got somethin' you can do that you think might fit in here, you just give me a holler and we'll see if we can't work somethin' out.

Don't got much in the way of signage right now, so just look for the warehouse with the door marked 'Private Entrance.' I'll be lookin' to remodel the place a bit to draw in some more business once we get up and runnin'. I'll be here 'til it gets dark if you'd rather hash things out face to beak. Just ask for DeDeDe.

Hey, Hinoto-Ri! I've never been happier to be here, let me tell you. It's almost like going home, after the Tower...but anyway, that's not why I'm posting.

For those of you who don't know me, I'm Rise Kujikawa. I'm an idol back home, which is a singer and an actor for people who aren't from Japan, and I got to thinking about something that my horoscope says I should bring up now - there's a lot of singers and performers in town! I've met plenty, and I know there's more hanging around, so I was wondering if anyone's ever thought of organizing a concert or something. After the last couple of months, I think people might need the kind of break some nice music can give...and I think most people have forgotten about that mess with the Jacks. I hope.

Anyway, I'm not a producer or anything, but I figure if enough of us got together we could figure something out! So...who wants to put on a concert?

So a lot of people have been talking about this new book both on the streets and the network and I thought it might be a good way of getting a better understanding of humans and the types of things they like to do.

I was able to get a digital copy so I could read it quickly, but it's a little confusing. I mean, I know it's suppose to be fiction, but sometimes it can show trends in reality.

So are relationships usually that complicated? Or with so many people?

Are rivalries actually just a cover for some deeper relationship between the rivals, or was that just wishful thinking on Mimini's part?

When people are in love, do they really hurt each other like that? Because I was under the impression humans don't like pain and try to avoid it, but it seemed that one character was really enjoying the pain...

Maybe I should read the first book, but I just got here and everyone was talking about this book, so I wanted to keep up with the current topic.
