[The video feed flicks on to show DeDeDe standing in front of a well-stocked bar.  The lighting is low at the moment, as there's still no electricity in the club, but enough sunlight is filtering through the windows to make the scene visible.  The massive penguin man quirks an eyebrow and gives a small upnod before offering a casual wave.]

Afternoon, Hinoto-Ri.  Seems this city's even more generous than I thought.

[He gestures behind him.]

It's seen fit to return a little business venture I was runnin' back home.  Now I've never been one to look a gift horse in the mouth, and seein' as it's here and I'm here, I'm plannin' to reopen for business in a couple of weeks.  This here's the Penguin's Nest, in the Taurus District right down the same street as that pirate bar and Nyx's place.  I'm lookin' to turn it into a respectable establishment where adults can go to enjoy a few drinks, a little music, and the pleasure of each other's company.

[In other words, it's a sex club.]

'Course, a place like this don't just run itself, so I'm lookin' for some local talent to help me keep the place up.  Bartenders, bouncers, dancers, musicians... you got somethin' you can do that you think might fit in here, you just give me a holler and we'll see if we can't work somethin' out.

Don't got much in the way of signage right now, so just look for the warehouse with the door marked 'Private Entrance.'  I'll be lookin' to remodel the place a bit to draw in some more business once we get up and runnin'.  I'll be here 'til it gets dark if you'd rather hash things out face to beak.  Just ask for DeDeDe.

[He flashes a grin at the feed.]

Well, for one, it's bein' run by a visitor. I'm sure Nyx is a well-respected face 'round here who knows how to cater to the tastes of the people of Hinoto-Ri, but the out of towners need to stick together too. I'm sure you've seen the way the townies look at us. It ain't exactly what you'd call a friendly atmosphere.

Now that's not to say they're not welcome too - as long as they're spendin' and show a little respect, I couldn't give a fuck who walks in my door. But I thought it'd be nice to have a place to relax a bit without gettin' a hole stared through you for a change.

i'm new in town and a little out of my depth. all i do back home is watch things happen. you could say i'm a bit of a pro. here though... i don't know the first thing about the city, never mind the channels worth watching. what i could use is a little security, i suppose, until i get on my feet. i wouldn't object to a paycheck either, really, but i'd like it if my other talents could get some exercise too.
