He's not wearing the watch, rather has it set on the table in his apartment like it's a tiny tiny computer. After making sure the little screen will stay upright by itself, Lea frowns at it a moment before scratching his head.]

So they tell me this watch thingy posts live to a network everybody in the city can see. Wow, that's pretty impressive--not just in technology but in trust! [He leans forward a bit, folding his arms on the back of the chair he's sitting backwards in and plunking his chin down on them.] I mean, I could say anything, and I wouldn't even be censored? [A low, appraising whistle.]

I mean, not that I'd ever do anything like that. [Grin~]

So where can a guy find the best ice cream in town? I've had a long day you guys wouldn't believe.

[Nothing like being dead and then waking up and finding out you got your heart back and wrangling with the idea of having real emotions again and debating whether or not you should track down your old friends who think you're dead and then getting pelted by children falling out of trees to wear you out. Yup. But he's not gonna go into details.

[A beat of silence and then he glances around as if making sure no one's watching before he cups a hand beside his mouth and says in a stage whisper,] Xemnas is an insufferable ass. And his briefings were boring as hell. [Just checking on that censorship thing. Yup. Nothing to see here.]

[There's a scrambling sound and a few mutterings of "you turn on the video over here, don't you?" before the video finally turns out, showing the somewhat morose face of one (1) Sam Erstwhile, disheveled brown hair almost covering his eyes. He glances away with a slight frown.]

Um, right, what was I going to say here...

[And then a nod as he looks back up.]

Right! Right. Erm, yeah. Hello to all of you, I guess. I'm Sam and...I just arrived a few days ago, so I'm sorry if I'm still new to all of this.

[He tries his best at a smile, but it's kind of a pathetic try, at best- his mouth just quirks upward for one second before dropping down to it's usual position.]

I...I just am a little confused, honestly. I mean, people have told me about the Persona thing and the fact that we have to fight monsters and all, but, I mean, why were we chosen in the first place? I know plenty of other people who would be way better at this than me. And it's not like I applied or anything, so...what's so special about me?

[He sighs, scratching the back of his head.] Somebody I talked to before talked about how they choose us based on our souls, but...I just want to hear what other people think. I'm not really interested in why we were chosen, more like how we were chosen, if that makes sense. What sets us apart from all the other people from where we come from?

Because, I dunno...I think they made a really huge mistake when they chose me.

hello residents of hinotori. i am here today to extend a helpful hand to you all. what a dead world you reside in. a miracle you survive for so long. demons prowl and yet humans still manage to survive in the face of adversary. how does such a weak creature gain such strength. they are wild and conflicting in their ways. their emotions are inscrutable. perhaps it is those things that are their strengths. they are like cockroaches. i mean that nicely. the humans of my world lived in a world that was dead. this one still has some life. some. in any case i should get to the point. please excuse my poor literacy. i do not know how to write human very well. i am trying however. the spellchecker function on this is very useful. the point. cries of assistance was given. i enjoy helping humans. i wish to be benevolent to you. however power lies in faith and faith can only give power. my followers are no more so their prayers cannot reach me regardless. therefore i extend a hand. i will be blunt. residents of hinotori join my cult. :) i added an emote of a smile because smiling is said to make people more relaxed when asking them of things. so please. consider my proposal. :) :) :) :)

To everyone else: I'm sorry about the loud, screaming goddess you just heard. She has this stupid thing against humans where she wants to wipe them all out. Just ignore her. Even if she is being really loud.

The influx of energy from this one is massive, completely unsubtle, almost as if purposefully designed to attract the attention of anyone with any sense whatsoever of the divine. Whatever ambiguity this might present is cleared up almost immediately. Despite that no one may be in the vicinity, the voice of a young girl sounds clearly throughout the city of Hinoto-Ri to nearly every inhabitant, as intelligibly as if the speaker were standing right next to those she addressed. …Perhaps too intelligibly. The first sound they hear is an vehement, despairing cry.]

[For a few moments, the speaker seems too overwhelmed with ire to speak. The sound of her breathing eventually slows...]

Excuse me.

[Latooni opens the video conversation in her usual polite way. She appears to be somewhere in the Virgo district, and those of you who are really good at reading deadpan facial expressions might think she looks a bit annoyed. She's also wearing one of her dresses for some reason.]

Now that things have settled down a little, does anyone here know where I might find "a warm, sweet drink that I can dye blue?" It can be alcoholic or not, although if it is I might need someone's help to buy it. I'm just having trouble finding anything that's white or clear and meant to be served warm other than plain milk, and I don't think that's acceptable...

3rd Screw [Action]

[It's been a while since the Skorpius attack, and Nano's finally gotten some time to decompress, unwind, and get to know her Persona. She's even made some friends around town, so she's feeling a lot more confident and much more like she has a place in her new surroundings. Unfortunately, in Hinoto-ri, she can't live on a stipend like she does at home with Hakase and Sakamoto, so she's found herself having to look for a part-time job to support herself. Since she already does all of the cooking at home, a cafe sounded like a good fit. The manager of the establishment Nano found first took one look at the wind-up key in her back and offered her the job immediately. What she didn't know at the time, however, was that she'd actually accepted work at a maid cafe.

Nano was rather surprised at the uniform they expected her to wear when she showed up to work the first day - a pink and white maid's cosplay outfit. It's decked out with the lace headband, frills everywhere, thigh high stockings, white leather shoes... the whole nine yards. Between the costume and the key in her back, there is some pretty powerful moe going on here. And despite Nano's embarrassment, she's very conscientious and dedicated once she's made a commitment, so she's doing her best to make sure the customers are happy. The fact that she's blushing from head to toe and shuffling around nervously for most of the day only adds to the overall effect her outfit is having on the patrons. She greets every new arrival with a smile and a polite bow of the head.]

ITP: Deliveries

Hello. My name is Arturia Pendragon. Some of you may have met me a month ago when I handed out flyers saying I would starting a delivery business soon.

My moped has been converted to use the type of engine needed here. [She just has to give the mechanic free deliveries for two months to pay for it and top priority. Sob.] As of today I will be making deliveries in the afternoons once school lets out and before sunset. Simply send me a message during that time to let me know the pick up and delivery location, and I will have it delivered in a half hour or less.

More importantly, candidates need to demonstrate strong problem solving skills, an ability to prioritize tasks and independently manage your own day to day activities. All positions will utilize your technical knowledge whilst providing the opportunity to develop additional skills you may lack.

In order to be considered for this role you will be screened and be subjected to drug and background checks. Moreover, while you are allowed to come into the facility with all your weapons, they will have to be removed before entering the core of the premises. Sagittarius Branch: Hiring [video]

Hello, everyone, and good evening.

[Typical lab background, typical labcoat- the only odd thing about Ideo today is that he's still sporting a bandage around his forehead.]

I wanted to formally extend an offer of employment, in light of all that has happened as of late. The Sagittarius Labs are dedicated to research and development in relation to demonic incidents- and we're looking for anyone and everyone who has any history in this subject, or even those willing to learn. I've spoken to the others, and we're in the process of contacting people for a job fair of sorts...but, well...

Hinoto-Ri seems like a...chaotic place. It sort of reminds me of home. { She smiles a mite awkwardly. } But I don't feel like I'm doing enough...for the people.

Is there some cause that grabs your attention? Are you worried about something?

Maybe there's something we can do about it. Together. I...have some experience... { Okay a lot of experience. } in diplomacy. I'd really like to put it to use to make Hinoto-Ri a safer and happier place.

I've gotten the onsen on the Nadesico working and at full power, and if anyone was interested in spending some time there I was considering opening them on the 1st of November. I know there is a big party on Halloween for the town and have no intentions of disrupting it, but I also know that a nice soak can feel very nice, especially in times like this. I've got good news! You're forgiven! The angel I summoned said so himself; God would definitely forgive you in a heartbeat because man's heart is weak, as is his mind, and we're all, uh, susceptible to the workings of the Evil One, and even as we wallow in our filth and sin, we -- You know what, forget God; I forgive you.

Seriously, no one could possibly blame you for what happened last week even if some of us were lucky enough to be scorpion magnets. Misery has it right - the important thing is to make sure that it doesn't happen again. If you all missed the announcements from the higher-ups, the people who were affected most severely were Scorpios. ...If you don't know what that means, in modern times on Earth - that's the 2000s - they were born when the Sun was in the sector of the sky dominated by the constellation Scorpio. This makes no sense if you were born outside Earth or in a time when we didn't go in for ridiculous things like pretending arbitrary sky-pictures meant anything about our lives, but the important thing is that the sun transitions into Scorpio beginning on October 23rd.

Guess what last week was.

The next sign is Sagittarius. The sun will shift into its sector on November 22nd.

So let's clear a few things out of the way - Everyone who was afraid, can you report in with your sign? Same thing if you were a scorpion magnet, though maybe that's more of a subjective thing. And everyone who's a Sagittarius, do you mind if we tie you to your beds from November, oh, 18th-ish to the 23rd? Your choices are (Yes/Of course/Definitely). If your name is Jun, (That's kinda kinky) works, too. If you don't know your sign, Sagittarius goes from late November into late December - so the end of a harvest season into winter in the Northern hemisphere, and the end of spring into summer in the South.
