[Latooni opens the video conversation in her usual polite way. She appears to be somewhere in the Virgo district, and those of you who are really good at reading deadpan facial expressions might think she looks a bit annoyed. She's also wearing one of her dresses for some reason.]

Now that things have settled down a little, does anyone here know where I might find "a warm, sweet drink that I can dye blue?" It can be alcoholic or not, although if it is I might need someone's help to buy it. I'm just having trouble finding anything that's white or clear and meant to be served warm other than plain milk, and I don't think that's acceptable...

White wines are yellow, though. Dying those blue would probably just make it green.

Also I'm not sure what kind of wine is supposed to be served warm and what kind isn't, but I know there's a difference.

Are all wines brewed from grapes? I keep smelling strange alcohol brewed from some sort of grain.

[ Loken has been smelling sake, though since he prefers grape-based wines he hasn't partaken of it. ]

Well, Hinoto-Ri still mostly follows pre-disaster Japanese law, which says you have to be 20 to buy or consume alcohol.

Very well. I'll be there shortly. [ And so he goes, like a giant grey ghost, moving disturbingly fast.]

[Hm...did this guy still always go around in full armor? Because that could be awkward in a crowded shopping district. Latooni makes sure she's out somewhere in the open and easily visible, but still near one of the fancier liquor stores.]

[ Garviel seems as stoic as always as he crosses to her. He's surprised by how tiny she is for a moment, realizing that he knows a lot of very delicate young women, now. He wonders if that is just how most females are, then considers Meetra, and shakes his head before addressing Lat.]

Er...a liquor store. There's one nearby that looks like it should sell sake.

Unfiltered sake. "Nigorizake" in the local language - this shop looks kind of traditional, so they might have it labeled like that. It'll be opaque or cloudy and white, supposedly.

Right! I'd forgotten about it, even though a lot of people back home drank it. I'm trying to get help to actually buy some...

Would the Government really portion out alcohol like that? I wouldn't even be drinking it.

It is, but I'm not sure how Miss Caroline or anyone in the Velvet Room is connected to the normal power structure here...
