[It's been a while since the Skorpius attack, and Nano's finally gotten some time to decompress, unwind, and get to know her Persona.  She's even made some friends around town, so she's feeling a lot more confident and much more like she has a place in her new surroundings.  Unfortunately, in Hinoto-ri, she can't live on a stipend like she does at home with Hakase and Sakamoto, so she's found herself having to look for a part-time job to support herself.  Since she already does all of the cooking at home, a cafe sounded like a good fit.  The manager of the establishment Nano found first took one look at the wind-up key in her back and offered her the job immediately.  What she didn't know at the time, however, was that she'd actually accepted work at a maid cafe.

Nano was rather surprised at the uniform they expected her to wear when she showed up to work the first day - a pink and white maid's cosplay outfit.  It's decked out with the lace headband, frills everywhere, thigh high stockings, white leather shoes... the whole nine yards.  Between the costume and the key in her back, there is some pretty powerful moe going on here.  And despite Nano's embarrassment, she's very conscientious and dedicated once she's made a commitment, so she's doing her best to make sure the customers are happy.  The fact that she's blushing from head to toe and shuffling around nervously for most of the day only adds to the overall effect her outfit is having on the patrons.  She greets every new arrival with a smile and a polite bow of the head.]

[Nano smiles, folding her arms in front of her and bowing her head as she stands aside, waiting for Garviel to take a seat.]

[ He looks at the seat. He looks at himself, and shakes his head. ]

I would break it.

[Nano fidgets a bit as she glances from the seat to Garviel and back again.]

Oh... yes... I'm sorry!

[shuffle shuffle]

Would you like some tea or cake?

Tea and cake are both acceptable.

[Another bow, and then she turns to scurry back to the kitchen.]

[At some point fairly soon, Nano's likely to share a shift with another girl who started working here recently, and who does her best to observe that giant key objectively without reacting to it.]

[She shuffles her feet nervously, still unused to the outfit and not exactly sure of how to carry herself.]

Well, don't worry. Everyone here is very nice, and dresses like this just take some getting used to.

I've never worn anything quite like it before. The skirt is a little shorter than I expected...

[She blushes a little, tugging at the outfit a bit.]

[When Chrome wandered into the cafe to get some lunch, this wasn't what she was expecting to see.]

... Ah, hello, Nano-san.

[Nano folds her hands in front of her and bows her head before moving aside and gesturing toward the rest of the shop.]

Please, sit anywhere you like.

[Yes, a bit flustered and CONFUSED. Says the guy who is wearing a helmet.]

[And as she turns around to face the newcomer, all Nano can do for a moment or two is stare. She thought she stood out too much with her wind-up key, but this guy looks even more like a robot than she does.

Why is he out just walking around like that? Should I say something?]

[Is this some kind of human cultural thing, to half finish a sentence? He just waits, hoping that she doesn't make him wait too long.]
