[ Even after his headache of a month, filled with British accents and a curious set of memories, Mikale is still not feeling "settled". Maybe especially after that crazy time. He's been looking around for ways to stay busy, like a job or picking up new hobbies, but eventually has to come to terms with some facts: He is stuck here and no amount of busy work will keep him from being a bit ~~very~~ lonely. Especially considering he hasn't been without his best friend like this in a long time. ]

Okay, so... Hi. I'm Mikale. I got here... recently enough. I guess. So... [ His call is off to an awkward start. It's public, right? He's not sure how to behave for a public call like this. Especially one with video. ] A lot of you have been here longer than me, so... I guess you'd know better than me about this. [ sigh ]

How do you stop missing someone who isn't here? Like if you miss her-- uh, it... them, really... kinda badly. Is there a ritual or something, like for getting rid of bad spirits? A tea I can drink? Does missing people work that way?

I wish I knew what led to them becoming so confused. The leaders of this city should look into it. It's their duty to look after their people and ensure their physical safety as well as their mental well-being.

I'm still kind of new around town. I'm looking for a job. Anyone have any ideas? I've got experience dealing with supernatural creatures, but I've also got some retail experience, too. I'm more of a people person.

And uh, if anyone ever wants to grab lunch or something, I'm open. Until I get a job, at least... but for the right person I think I can make an exception.

[Aoi has been acting strangely as of late. Not only has she been calling Avitus and Otonashi both "idiots" quite often, but as the memories get worse she can sometimes be seen with a hand over her face, clearly in pain. Whenever she catches herself, she does feel horrible, but she's been able to do that less and less recently...]

[It was just meant to be a simple shopping trip, but for some reason or another, Aoi found herself drawn to a weapons shop. Which, while not entirely odd in itself (she did need to maintain her naginata after all) was a bit different when she started looking closely at the combat knives on sale. Just looking at them, she somehow knows she would be able to use these - and quite well if it came to it.]

[After a while, it became hard to deny that she probably knew the person whose memories she had gained. After all, she had met Hinata and Otonashi and knew they were part of Yuri's group. Eventually, Yuri will get a call:]

[It's not unusual in and of itself to suddenly remember something that you haven't thought of in forever. But some of the things Akane has been recalling lately are a little... strange. Because who would forget having eaten bear meat? It wasn't bad or anything, just.... she feels like it's the sort of thing she'd remember. She hasn't realized anything strange is going on yet, so her tone is more casually curious than concerned.]

Hey, I've got a question for everyone. What's the weirdest thing you've ever eaten?

[Nano and Nik have been preoccupied recently. Actually, the whole city seems to be pretty weird lately. At any rate, it's a slow day for grocery shopping and Akane is booored. Which isn't all that unusual, but she is finding some unusual ways to pass the time. For a while, she's reading a thick book about military strategy that she got from the library. She's having an easier time reading than she expected and never realized how interesting this sort of thing was. But then... didn't she used to do something like this?

No, thats silly! A kid in elementary school wouldn't be marching around with an army.... right? So then why does she remember it so clearly?

Later on, she's in the canned food aisle. Most of the cans have been pulled from the shelves and set up on the floor. Using similarly colored labels, she's set up two opposing armies. Part of it is to better visualize what's in the book. Changing their positions around, creating terrain out of carboard boxes and other objects, she's got the makings of a pretty interesting strategy game here. But something doesn't seem quite right... Shouldn't there be more different kinds of units? She's gazing at her mock battlefield with a thoughtful frown...]

[Now that she has some idea what's going on, she really wants to talk to the person who has her memories. The question is how to find them. Text seems to be the best method. And because she doesn't want to reveal too much of the other person's memories on a public network,(it wouldn't be fair) she'll need to be a little vague.]

I want to talk to the person who got my memories. If you used to be in a big army full of guys with swords and people who could do magic and the name Grima means anything to you, please text me back.

[He's been silent for a while. Ever since arriving, Yarne's been dealing with trying not to get himself killed...or so it seemed, maybe, to everyone else. In actuality, he's been spending the last week getting less and less social, to the point where he's going on long walks without telling his allies and avoiding looking at his communicator altogether. He's even taken to sleeping outside of his assigned room.

Today is different, though. After fighting some demons during the thirteenth hour, he turns it on. At the moment, he's leaning against a wall not far from his apartment, looking a bit feverish. He's holding his head in one hand and glaring down at his watch in the other. There are two things very wrong with Yarne's appearance...to those who know him. For one, he's wearing a pair of jeans and a thick black coat. Two, there's a bit of blood on the axe leaning next to him...and some on his face. He hasn't washed up.]

This week has been nothing more than a pain in the ass.

[His hand leaves hand so he can reach down to his side and pull up his evoker. He looks at it for a moment before tossing it to the side. It hits the ground with a loud clang.]

...That's an evoker. It ain't doing shit to bring out my Persona. [He growls.] There's something wrong. What the hell is it? It's a gun, but...despite everything I've done, I shouldn't know what it is. [His message may be cryptic, but the memories to him are so clear. He's been shot before, fixing something...taking care of something. But he also knows, extremely vaguely, that despite being able to hold one and use one without flinching...that he's never seen one before.]

...Tch. [He brings his hand back to his head, starting to shake a little. The way he scowls, it's very clear that this Taguel is in great pain.] What's it all mean? Probably nothing more than a waste of everyone's time, but...something's different.

[He scowls again, but it's followed by another wince. His head hurts so much...he has to take a knee at this point. When he speaks again, there's a renewed firmness to his voice. He tries to set the message to private, but...he doesn't know how.]

Minako. Are you...busy right now?

[...He's not sure why he's asking, and it looks like he's about to say something else...but there's a loud screech and a fireball thrown at him. He dodges without flinching.]

Tch. Figures. [He grabs his axe and reaches to turn off his feed, but not before he says one more thing.] Time to say adiós, assholes.

[Action; 13th Hour; any night through the 21st]

[For once, DeDeDe isn't spending every night sitting in the Penguin's Nest drinking and carousing. He's got more important things to do. There's a city in danger of being torn apart by demons and god knows what else, and a Galactic Federation officer has a duty to protect the people from the nasty creatures that swarm out during the 13th Hour. And he's got a special Velvet Room Persona he's never used before, so he's got Bobby out tonight, encasing demons and other creatures in bubbles before smashing them apart with his hammer. His fighting style is strong and fast, with no effort wasted in each swing - truly the mark of a seasoned combatant with an impressive amount of military training. To anyone who knows him, the fact that he's out at all will register as odd enough, but he's also uncharacteristically standing up straight, moving with energy and purpose, and being incredibly polite to anyone he sees while he's fighting. He also definitely won't turn down any help, but if you look weak or helpless, he'll probably try to step in to defend you instead.]

[By this point, though, the really traumatic memories of the bounty hunter have started to flood DeDeDe's mind. He immediately knows something is up with this, and doesn't have a very hard time putting together just whose memories these are. There's a Samus where he comes from too, after all. So he's on the phone as soon as he pulls himself together, taking a long pull from a bottle of whiskey and wiping his beak before speaking in a very practiced even tone into the camera.]

Samus. You and I need to talk. Come to the club. I'll be in my office.

[No southern drawl, very professional. But it's definitely the Penguin King under there, and he's definitely looking more than a little shaken.]

Ruri is out and about, oddly she's dressed in a black Gothic dress and actually has makeup on for once. It makes her look a bit more pale but its still noticeable, also her demeanor is actually cheery. She's out looking through various stores pondering.

[Yeah, that's Labrys, alright. She's ditched her girls' summer uniform for something a bit more...masculine. She wears a long black trench coat and pants, along with some upgraded armor...no, those are her robotic arms? Whatever, they're metal and well-protected. Her fashion serves a practical purpose and isn't intended to be pretty and dressy like those...rags she had on earlier. After all, it's dangerous to be a girl in a pirate's world.

Wait... She's a robot in a human's world...no. No, that doesn't make sense. She's a pirate. She has a crew back home.]

After what happened today, I need someone to point me in the direction of the nearest mug of grog. I could use a stiff drink to get my head in order.

[Someone felt that his permanent blue hair dye stood out a little too much for his now confused brain. He remembers wanting to start a band...but that wouldn't make sense. He hates the public eye. Better to move mostly unnoticed in the crowds. But don't they excite him? He'd have every reason to want to go out...No wait. They make him uneasy....right?

There's a quiet look of surprise when he realizes he has turned the video on against his better judgement. Wearing the most boring shirt imaginable, he tries to speak out like he usually does, but fails, closing his mouth after leaving it open for a few seconds. He knows he should be talking about how awesome he is but...while he REMEMBERS having no problems with this...he also remembers not being a very social kind of guy? Seriously, what's the point bragging about yourself?

In fact, why did he even bother opening this?]

[At least his voice is the same, if not utterly devoid of the usual Michel panache...Just apologize and close the feed.

Hi, guys! I just wanted to tell everyone that I'm awake now, and I'm sorry to anyone that I worried! I'm perfectly fine now, I promise. They're keeping me here until the evening to run some additional tests, and I'd love it if anyone wants to stop by! It's really boring to sit around all day, especially after I've already been sleeping for so long. I'm the first door across from the elevator on the second floor, I promise you won't miss me.

[She gives the camera a large smile before switching into her private filters.]

I don't really know how I can make it up to you all for any trauma or injury I might have caused, but would maybe a free dinner tomorrow evening at Tappers help a bit? It's all my treat, and you can get whatever you want! I hope you don't think less of me after this, and I'm especially sorry to the people that didn't know me as well beforehand... I'd really appreciate it if you could give me a chance to introduce myself properly and apologize in person! Hope to see you all there...
