I'm sorry, I just... I had a dream. Last night. Philemon was in it. I think something bad happened. Could you check with your neighbors? I'm sorry if it turns out I'm overreacting. It's just considering what's happened recently... yeah, just. Sorry.

[The feed turns back on again, and this time, a worried face is clearly visible on his face.]

...It appeared that my niece has disappeared from her housing.

Ah, yeah. Philemon was there, saying something about some having been chosen by something called the Trapezohedron, I think it was, to try to find some nebulous HIM. From what I've found out, the "him" is some equal but more openly malicious being named Nyarlathotep. We're supposed to keep watch over the city and protect it while the others do... whatever, and just trust in them. Honestly, the whole situation sort of stinks as far as I'm concerned.

As much as protecting the city is an arduous task, it's pretty neglecting of them to do such things when everyone's still recovering from that earlier attack, don't you think?

No kidding. At least one person I know who went shouldn't have even really been walking around the last I saw her. You'd think they'd pick healthier people if they needed to do this stuff -- unless the Trapezohedron just doesn't care.

Goes to show how you can't really trust an inanimate object with choices like these.

To be fair, I think it's less the inanimate object bit and more the "possession of a superpowerful entity that doesn't really have humanity's best interests at heart."
