[001 - video message]
[On the network, a video feed starts up from one of the watch comps, pointed directly at the face of the user. Said user happens to be a woman with blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail, wearing a futuristic looking armored suit. Her helmet is currently off so that her face is visible on camera.
It appears that she is sitting in a stark white hospital room, with several doctors nearby reviewing clipboards and storing samples of... are those vials of glowing blood?
Speaking of glowing, the woman herself happens to be glowing slightly blue all over, and there are dark blue veins running along certain areas on her face.
When she's positive that the feed is working, she begins to speak.]
My name is Samus Aran, from my universe I'm what's known as a space hunter, a hired mercenary and bounty hunter primarily working for the Galactic Federation. One of my missions recently left me infected with a radioactive substance known as Phazon; my body is currently producing Phazon at a steady rate, and the city's government feared that my condition may cause harm to civilians, so I have been in the hospital for the past two days while tests were being run.
As I assured them, and as they confirmed, my condition is not contagious nor is it outright harmful to either myself or any others that I come into contact with. I now assure you that there is no need to fear my condition, and I'm taking great care to make sure that I keep it under control.
[To her chagrin this might mean regular check-ups at the doctor's.]
As a warning, my body and my suit are irradiated, so radiation detectors will go off if I come near them.
I'll be happy to answer any questions or concerns regarding my condition, but first I would like to ask if there happens to be anyone from my universe currently residing in the city. If you are at all familiar with the Galactic Federation, whether you are a part of the Federation Police or military, or whether you are simply aware of their presence as the law enforcement of the galaxy you are from, please let me know.

Granted that peace among civilizations is a common goal, of course.
Video
So you're a bounty hunter, then? I think this is the longest I've gone in a while between meeting one and meeting another.
Video
[She gives a small and hesitant nod.] I understand that many bounty hunters don't have particularly good reputations, I myself had to face off with a great deal of them. There is a particular division in my galaxy, however, that works as mercenaries for the Federation.
I'm an ex-soldier, I hunt down threats to innocent lives, I would never attempt a manhunt on someone who wasn't malicious.
Video
But more seriously, it's good to meet people who put their talent for fighting to good use. I've only met a few people like that outside of army regulars.
Video
[She is really only assuming that Meetra is a warrior by the way she presents herself, though she could be wrong.]
Video
Actually, I was part of an Order that's occasionally done similar work for the Republic...although if you called any of them mercenaries, they'd probably stick their noses in the air, let alone bounty hunters.
Mostly, Jedi are supposed to be philosophers, but plenty of them have chosen to throw themselves at conflict in the name of resolving it.
Video
[She looks curious when Meetra mentions that her kind were philosophers, though.]
Perhaps it's for the best. Isolation in the wake of war can be a selfish choice.
Video
What does it mean to kill millions to save billions? Even asking that question can change a person, let along following through on it in galactic war.
Video
I do my best to avoid such decisions. If there is a way around them, or perhaps even a way of preventing them, I will gladly take it. I work to prevent wars, end them before they start.
Video
I'm liking it a lot better. Less pointless death.
Video
[Yeah, she's definitely got weird standards for a bounty hunter. Seems like money was the least of her concerns.]

Contact me sometime, Surik?
