When the feed snaps on, Desco is...sort of fidgeting nervously.

"Uh, um, Desco just found out about the tournament thing, and she wants to prove that the Final Boss is always the strongest! But, um..."

She taps the tips of the two claws that correspond to index fingers against each other as she stammers.

"Desco doesn't know how to use her Persona yet, so is there anyone that can train Desco? Desco will share the rewards with you!"

"When Desco conquers this city she will find you and put you on toilet duty."

So what, when all the mortals are dead and you're the last one left? You are, at least, immortal, right?

[tyrantball]

"That is a method only lazy cowards would ever think of. Desco operates on a higher level!"

[forceofnature]

Does Desco ever operate in 1st person or do we have to suffer through a conversation with two insufferable game clichés? I mean, it's bad enough I'm a tsundere.

[tyrantball]

There's a slight pause as Desco processes that last part and continues on in a slightly less hostile tone.

"Ohhh, Desco didn't realize you were a tsundere! Desco apologizes for snapping at you."

[forceofnature]

Tch, not for you!

...Well, I guess it's more of a global phenomenon. ...Not for you on a personal level, anyway.

[tyrantball]

"Mr. Fenfen is also a tsundere!"

She definitely sounds cheerful, now.

"That's why Desco knows you can't help it, so Desco won't hold it against you."

[forceofnature]

"I can too help it! I'm not beholden to any stupid character cliche! We're not talking about me, anyway, this was about you and you're... whatever you were going on about! What kind of Final Boss doesn't know how to fight, anyway?"

[tyrantball]

"Desco can fight!"

A slight pout as she continues.

"But Desco doesn't know how to use her Persona."

[forceofnature]

"You kinda just point and click." Viridi's tone is slightly less prickly now. "It helps if you shout out the skill name."

[tyrantball]

Nod nod nod.

"So it is like Desco's usual skills! Is there an Evility Shop to upgrade them?"

[forceofnature]

"No, but there's a weird blue disco bar where you can swap them out for better ones if you want. They get upgraded by being used in battle."

[tyrantball]

"So all Desco has to do is kill things? Desco is very good at killing things!"

Oh where are her manners.

"Thank you, Miss Tsundere!"

[forceofnature]

"It's Viridi. Or Mistress Viridi if you want to give a goddess the proper respect."

She sounds more like a petulant eight-year-old than a goddess, but that's a detail that probably shouldn't be mentioned.

[tyrantball]

"Ooo, what are you the goddess of, Miss Viridi?"

[forceofnature]

"I'm the goddess of nature! You can tell from my youthful beauty and my excellent sense of flower-themed fashion."

Not that she's put it on video or anything.

[tyrantball]

"Nature...Desco lives in Hades where everything is lava, so she doesn't get to see flowers much."

[forceofnature]

"You live in Hades's realm? ...I guess that's probably pretty standard for a demon, but that's gotta be a chore." Desco was pretty clearly a demon, despite being on the more endearing end of the scale.

"Try relocating. I hear the housing market is on the upswing right now - A Final Boss should have a lair that properly reflects her grandeur, right?"

[tyrantball]

"Right now Desco and Big Sis are teachers at Netherworld Institute Evil Academy!"

[forceofnature]

"You need to go to school to learn how to be evil? Isn't it more of an inherent thing?"

[tyrantball]

"Oh no, only terrible delinquents actually attend classes. Part of Desco's job is to beat them up so they won't bother the honor students!"

Slight pause.

"Desco usually doesn't do that because she gets a bonus for ignoring her duties."

[forceofnature]

"...What."

She has to take a few minutes to think about this.

"So you... And -- Ohhh. Huh. I see. It's a school... that teaches you not to attend school. Clever! ...Kinda. So what's the point in wasting the resources in building it at all?"

She answers her own question two seconds later. "Because waste is evil, got it. Wow, you really have this thought out."

[tyrantball]

"Thank you!"

Slight giggle.

"Sometimes Desco and Big Sis go exploring in the abandoned sections that have been reclaimed by nature!"

[forceofnature]

"If it were up to me, that description would apply to the whole planet." Viridi sounds appeased, though. "See? Even Hell can't stop the strength of natural life."

[tyrantball]

"Huh?"

She sounds...puzzled.

"But only humans try to do that."
