When the feed snaps on, Desco is...sort of fidgeting nervously.

"Uh, um, Desco just found out about the tournament thing, and she wants to prove that the Final Boss is always the strongest! But, um..."

She taps the tips of the two claws that correspond to index fingers against each other as she stammers.

"Desco doesn't know how to use her Persona yet, so is there anyone that can train Desco? Desco will share the rewards with you!"

"Nature...Desco lives in Hades where everything is lava, so she doesn't get to see flowers much."

[forceofnature]

"You live in Hades's realm? ...I guess that's probably pretty standard for a demon, but that's gotta be a chore." Desco was pretty clearly a demon, despite being on the more endearing end of the scale.

"Try relocating. I hear the housing market is on the upswing right now - A Final Boss should have a lair that properly reflects her grandeur, right?"

[tyrantball]

"Right now Desco and Big Sis are teachers at Netherworld Institute Evil Academy!"

[forceofnature]

"You need to go to school to learn how to be evil? Isn't it more of an inherent thing?"

[tyrantball]

"Oh no, only terrible delinquents actually attend classes. Part of Desco's job is to beat them up so they won't bother the honor students!"

Slight pause.

"Desco usually doesn't do that because she gets a bonus for ignoring her duties."

[forceofnature]

"...What."

She has to take a few minutes to think about this.

"So you... And -- Ohhh. Huh. I see. It's a school... that teaches you not to attend school. Clever! ...Kinda. So what's the point in wasting the resources in building it at all?"

She answers her own question two seconds later. "Because waste is evil, got it. Wow, you really have this thought out."

[tyrantball]

"Thank you!"

Slight giggle.

"Sometimes Desco and Big Sis go exploring in the abandoned sections that have been reclaimed by nature!"

[forceofnature]

"If it were up to me, that description would apply to the whole planet." Viridi sounds appeased, though. "See? Even Hell can't stop the strength of natural life."

[tyrantball]

"Huh?"

She sounds...puzzled.

"But only humans try to do that."

[forceofnature]

"...What, reclaim things for nature? Yeah, right, that's a good one."

[tyrantball]

"No, Desco meant only humans try to stop nature."

A pause.

"Why would demons do something so stupid?"

[forceofnature]

"Because you hate life and beauty and anything natural? I don't know; I usually try not to put myself in the mindset of a demon if I can help it."

[tyrantball]

Desco is appalled. APPALLED.

"Desco doesn't hate beauty! Don't put words in Desco's mouths!"

[forceofnature]

"...I'm going to tactfully ignore that plural there, because I probably don't want to know. Demons are beings of destruction. By your very definition, you exist to tear things down. I mean, this whole free-willed-demon thing is pretty 20th century as a whole, and I'm from what? The 4th BC?"

[tyrantball]

"...but demons exist to terrify humans, not tear things down."

Really puzzled now.

"Demons go to the human world and scare humans, humans fear the darkness and live conservatively, and angels help humans and get the awe energy they need! It is a delicate and beautiful natural cycle that Desco helps preserve!"

[forceofnature]

"There's nothing natural about demons. You're not a demon if you're necessary for the proper functioning of the world; you're just another life-form in the cogs of the machinery."

[tyrantball]

"Your warped logic is worthy of a Final Boss! Desco's brain hurts trying to follow it."

From the tone in her voice, that is an actual compliment.

[forceofnature]

"Thanks!"

Viridi sounds proud, anyway.

"I mean, I was definitely being set up to be a pretty important boss until they kinda railroaded me into, uh, joining the party, in a matter of speaking. Not that I mind so much; Hades was even more of a threat to nature than humans were."

[tyrantball]

"Ooo!"

Desco sounds impressed.

"Miss Viridi is a Mid-Game Boss and a hidden character? How impressive!"

[forceofnature]

"Yeah. I'm so well hidden you only ever see my 3D model once in the whole game."

She sounds slightly less enthused about this.

"They obviously thought that their puny mortal minds couldn't handle my divine beauty and pristine features."

[tyrantball]

Oh, such optimism.

But anyway, 3D? Really? Desco is officially jealous.

"Miss Viridi is in 3D? Desco has only ever been rendered as a high definition sprite!"

Ah, the perils of being in a game where the graphics take second place to meaninglessly large numbers.

[forceofnature]

"I wouldn't worry too much about it. That kind of thing appeals to a certain demographic. I mean, I'd even go on a limb and say you're probably all the more popular because of it."

[tyrantball]

"Desco hopes so!"

She sounds a little downcast now.

"Big Sis puts all our salary towards the Minion Fund, so Desco hasn't been able to buy a copy of her game yet."

[forceofnature]

"I'd buy you one if we were released on the same system, but I think there's some kind of copyright law in effect here."

She sounds vaguely sympathetic, though.

"So what's the Minion Fund? You actually have to hire your own?"

[tyrantball]

"Big Sis is saving up for the DLC classes!"

Pause.

"...and chocolates."
