you should definitely go to school.

You could talk to the principal if you like and see about taking a placement test?

The principal is the person in charge at school.

Alternatively you could see about finding a tutor to help you catch up and enroll properly once you have.

[Now she feels bad, dammit.]

Enroll means signing up for school.

Placement is what level of schooling you belong in. A placement test is taken to determine what level you belong in if you've been out of the school system for a long time.

A tutor is someone who helps you learn things one-on-one. Normally they're supposed to help you with what you already know, but people also get one in order to catch up on things they don't know.

Yes, alternatively means 'or' once you get down to it.

Don't be nervous. School can be a lot of fun. It's scary at first, but I'm sure you'll make a lot of friends.

Good! So you're not completely hopeless. Let's add to the difficulty, n00b.

2 x 2 = ?
2 x 5 = ?

Multiplication, zero-brains! How do you function in the real world? Oh that's right you're a flower child who lived in a tree or something.

Listen up, because I'm about 2 take you 2 school. Elementary school! Class is in session.

Multiplication. Think of it this way, yoctogram. Let's use 2 x 2. You read that "two times two". You can also read it as "two groups of two." We'll use something you're familiar with; rocks!! On one side, you have two rocks in one group. On the other, you have two rocks in another group. How many rocks are there total?

It's FOUR, yoctogram! 2 groups of 2 objects, the total = 4!!

It works the same if you have... say... 3 groups with 3 objects in each. How many is that then? You have 2min to answer!!
