01 Text - Cult Recruitment!
hello residents of hinotori.
i am here today to extend a helpful hand to you all. what a dead world you reside in. a miracle you survive for so long. demons prowl and yet humans still manage to survive in the face of adversary. how does such a weak creature gain such strength. they are wild and conflicting in their ways. their emotions are inscrutable. perhaps it is those things that are their strengths.
they are like cockroaches. i mean that nicely. the humans of my world lived in a world that was dead. this one still has some life.
some.
in any case i should get to the point.
please excuse my poor literacy. i do not know how to write human very well. i am trying however. the spellchecker function on this is very useful.
the point.
cries of assistance was given. i enjoy helping humans. i wish to be benevolent to you. however power lies in faith and faith can only give power. my followers are no more so their prayers cannot reach me regardless. therefore i extend a hand.
i will be blunt. residents of hinotori join my cult.
:)
i added an emote of a smile because smiling is said to make people more relaxed when asking them of things. so please. consider my proposal.
:) :) :) :)

So you would love those who even did the worst things possible, would you? Or would you cast them aside to search for those whose hearts are more pure?
But to reply, being disdainful of humans for being humans is ridiculous. How can I love only one aspect of them, but shun the rest? I do not comprehend such a thing. To love something, you love their flaws as well as their good qualities.
[A long pause.]
You're pretty weird...I don't think I know anyone like you back home. Almost anyone would hate me for what sort of person I am.
[He lets out a shuddering breath, closing his eyes as if just saying what he's going to next is something that dredges up painful memories that he's trying to keep at bay.]
I'm worthless. A coward. Somebody who will never put up a fight. Just a dark stain on the world that was never needed.
But most of all...they see me as a monster.
...
I don't want to say that they're wrong, because I want them to be, but I can't exactly say it's not true, what they say about me...
So embroiled in feelings of negativity... it is like a black hole, sucking up all light and passion. It is a very sad state of affairs, although there is a terrifying beauty in black holes. They are mysterious and destructive, and they devour everything...not even Gods or light can escape their pull...
Ah, pardon me. I went off on a tangent. My point remains, however. Human perception is a very tricky thing, I have found. They are prone to making judgement without acknowledging or understanding those they are judging intimately well. It is an amusing flaw in them! But sadly common.
If it is any consolation, you do not appear monster-like to me. You are plainly human.
[And a pause.] I know it's common, and all, but tell that to the majority of them, and see if they listen. No matter what, they'll still believe the same thing, no matter how much you force the truth into them.
[He tilts his head back slightly, something like relief in his tiny smile- but his eyes, however, glint darkly.] Am I?
But yes, you are human. It is obvious to me, even though we are not speaking in person. Your actions, your self-loathing, your defensiveness... all incredibly human traits - unless you are very good at mimicking, in which I am in awe. Not even I can mimic emotions so well...
[Oh, dear Amant, you have no idea how good at mimicking he is. But he merely pauses and then shakes his head.]
Oh, no! No, I'm not mimicking, but...it's not like monsters and stuff can't feel emotions too, you know?
[Anant's voice is a bit dismissive]
Of course, it is different if they are human monsters, because their fall from grace is always fascinating to watch. But something that is born a monster, and lives as one, and remains static? No interest. None.
[He seems to consider the second part a bit before saying, slowly...]
So...you're only interested in things that change, are you?
Monsters? Born monsters? What are their goals? Devour, destroy, fulfil base instincts, instead of breaking past their limits to achieve something more! They do not change, their goals and methods remain the same, they give no thought to the evolution of the soul...
Offensive.
I mean, there must always be a mutant somewhere, I think. An outlier, a creature that doesn't fit in...
So, if a true monster couldn't become human, could it happen the other way around? Could a human being become a monster?
[You're only human, boy.]
[And Sam had tried to escape that. Humanity meant weakness. So, to be told that in this person's mind, no matter what he's done to himself, he's still human at the core, almost annoys him.]
So, in the end, monsters and humans will be two different things entirely, as far as you are concerned?
Why would one wish to shed themselves of their humanity to become monsters anyway? It is impossible, since human desires, and human wishes, urged them to attain that lifelessness. A monster that yearns for humanity is one whose soul is evolving, despite the fact that monsters do not possess such an ability. So are they human in soul, yet monsters in body?
Souls are mysterious things, and the greatest power humanity has. It is what makes them stronger than monsters. Despite being weak, to have nothing but their imagination and stubbornness to give them strength, humans always succeed and persevere - even the apocalypse, they survive!
Truly...they are an inspiring, beautiful thing...
