Um, hey. I guess it's about time I introduced myself, huh? I'm Captain Asem Asuno, Earth Federation Special Forces...though I guess that doesn't mean much here. But it does mean I'm a pilot, and I have my mobile suit here. So if you see a white, giant robot around, don't worry, because it's friendly. I'm here to help in any way I can.

But right now, I need some help. Can anyone tell me how to go about getting a job? Is there a procedure here, or do I just go places and ask for applications?

[Well, well, well! Theodore has seen that everything has slowed down, and with the guests being introduced to the Velvet Room it certainly makes things easier for an introduction. He won't even have to explain much if at all, though that part kind of makes him sad.

He likes showing off his knowledge.

Regardless!! This guy is in the familiar wear of the Velvet Room still - he just can't leave it behind - and after a minute of staring at the screen to make sure he's got it right he smiles and bows. He's been practicing this in his room and damn if he doesn't get it right.]

Hello, boys and girls! Are we taking care of ourselves in this strange new world! I do hope so. It'd be a shame for anybody to get injured this early into the story.

Oh, but perhaps you have got an injury! Or perhaps some sort of other ailment? Or perhaps you're simply a caring soul who wishes to donate to a worthy academic cause -- which is to say, my own! Well, you're in luck! My name is Misery, and as I'm sure some of you know by now, I happen to be a witch. More importantly, I happen to be a witch with no small talent in the art of brewing, and it just so happens I've already figured out how to make a few mild healing tonics and antidotes, which will all be available to you! For a price, of course. I have to make my money SOMEHOW, of course. Ho ho ho.

But you know, it seems a shame to make such simple trifles. So, for a little elbow grease -- and a lot MORE money -- I would be willing to use some of the new materials offered by, ah, some of our more DEMONIC problems to try to find even MORE cures for what ails you. And I am ALWAYS welcome towards more ingredients, so don't be shy now! Wouldn't want anybody to think you're scared of a little medicine, right? Oh ho ho ho ho.

((OOC: As of this post, Misery can sell minor potions of healing and poison antidotes to people, although assume you can't buy more than one or two without a decent-paying job. Also, she'll take requests! If there's a potion or small jewelry item you want, request it to her. I'll pass it by the mods, and if it's okay, she'll give a list of items to fetch. Note that these potions will require a LOT more money unless you want to be working for her for bupkiss for a long time, and are very limited in number to keep the game balance. Main ideas:

- Protection Spell replacements
- Poisons
- Maybe something for... shenanigans, if you feel like it. Because we all like shenanigans.
- Small defensive jewelry (which will be the most dangerous and expensive.

Greetings, everyone. I apologize for the delay in introductions. I saw that everyone else was making video introductions over the network, and I just wasn't sure whether or not to make one myself. Anyway, I am Ludwig Beilschmidt. I look forward to seeing the rest of you around town.

[He shifts a little bit in his seat.]

One thing before I close the feed. Can you please tell me about your Personas? I would like to know for future strategic considerations. My Persona, Siegfried, appears as an armored warrior who specializes in physical attacks and lightning-element skills. It renders me immune to physical attacks, which is a definite plus, but it seems to be weak to fire. So, if you are in need of some good physical or lightning-element support next time you train, let me know and I will help you.

The feed opens to show the young man sitting on the bed in his apartment, staring at a single card in his hand with a thoughtful expression. The silence may be long enough to make one wonder whether he's actually aware he's being recorded, but any doubts should be resolved as he addresses anyone who might be watching this.]

[It is a bit foolish in his opinion. Why reveal your identity in such a way? However, he thinks it is probably best to introduce himself as well - these people possessed the same abilities as him, and as what occurred earlier, he may be forced to work with them in case of further attacks. He may as well scope out those that are competent in the very least!]

Oh, right. Introductions! I'm Maya Amano, hot-blooded journalist! I don't have much use for formalities, though, so just Maya is fine. I've been assigned to Libra 7-08. These apartments are awfully small, but I suppose they'll have to do!

I was thinking of giving myself a tour of the city, particularly the shopping district, if anyone is interested. Also, does anyone happen to know if the paper here is hiring? It's certainly informative, but I'm of the opinion that their articles could use a little pepping-up, and I don't like being idle for too long. If I have to leave my career behind, then I'll just build myself a new one here.

[Well, it turns out approaching people via video is a lot easier than just walking up to someone in that crowded room the night they arrived. The feed shows Akihiko wearing a reserved smile, the view that can be briefly glimpse over his shoulder clearly that of his snug apartment, with a large, cylindrical punching bag hanging behind him.]

I've already met a few of you, but I'm Akihiko Sanada, from Iwatodai, Japan. I'll be staying at Libra 5-08. I've had some extensive experience with the use of Personas already, so if anyone needs a hand, I'd be willing to lend one. I know getting used to it isn't always easy.

If there's anyone out there with an interest in boxing and looking for someone to spar with, drop me a line. Some of my equipment came with me, but there's nothing like a sparring partner to help keep your skills sharp, and I won't be giving mine the chance to slip.

Most of the technology talk went over his head during the initial greeting before the attack happened, so up until this time he was figuring how to work this shining piece of wizardry. Video posts still make him jump, so he'll never be using that option himself.

[Lizzie pulls away from the camera so that her face is visible, but she's holding it at an odd tilt, betraying her lack of knowledge with technology. For one brief moment uncertainty flashes in her eyes, but then she is smiling politely and speaking confidently.]

Good day, everyone. I hope this finds you well, and that you've been able to settle down properly. My name is Elizabeth Middleford, and, like you, I've been brought here very suddenly from my own time and world. There are some things I've noticed that I'd like to ask about, now that I have the chance.

Firstly, is there anyone here that was taken as far back as the late 19th century around Queen Victoria's reign? I was taken from the year 1890 and I would very much like to make the acquaintance of anyone who was from that time, or any English gentlemen or ladies in general.

Secondly, seeing as we have several young ladies like myself in this city, I would like to extend my hand in friendship to you all and suggest something of a boarding house for us to live or spend time together in. In my time, boarding schools were meant to give its residents a sense of community with each other, as well as offer emotional support. I believe many of us could benefit from that in this city. If anyone is interested, I'll see to finding us an appropriate building and other such business things so we can all be settled comfortably as soon as possible.

Lastly...as I am from an older time than most, I find that my outfits and dress are...well, equally as outdated in comparison to the other ladies here. My name's Minako Arisato. I've talked to a few of you already, but for everyone else, it's nice to meet you!

Now that things have calmed down a little I was wondering - how many of us were Persona-users before coming to Hinoto-ri? I think it might be good to meet and compare notes if we haven't yet, see what's the same and what's changed. And maybe we could also make a list of people with experience who can help with answering questions or training, or things like that! Just jumping into using a Persona can be pretty daunting...

For everyone else - what do you usually do for fun? Some of the things I like are music, volleyball, cooking... If we have enough people who like the same things, maybe we could even form a club! I wouldn't mind having someone to play volleyball with again. Or to go out to karaoke! (ﾉ´▽｀)ﾉ♪

Hello, everyone. It's good to see the network in use.

[Still wearing a labcoat and a white shirt was Ideo, bowing to the camera way more elegantly than he probably had to. It was set up so that none of the building behind him was discernible, but those who had been there would probably recognize the lighting as that from the Labs themselves. Which...meant Ideo was still there at 10:30 at night, okay.]

My name is Ideo Hazama- some of you met me during the incident in our Sagittarius labs. First, I would like to thank those who participated in helping us push back the Anoli. We could not have succeeded without your help.

As for those I have not personally met, I am glad you are here, and it is good to meet you at large. Reiko and I work in the Research and Development labs, and focus specifically on technology in relation to demonkind. She is the expert in demon-related combat, however, so any specific queries about such should be directed to her. My main expertise is demon-related defense, as well as negotiation.
