[When the feed comes on, not only is it unusual because it's being broadcast on the public network, viewable by practically everyone in the city, but it's also tilted down at someone who is laying on the floor, wincing in pain, clearly coming from the watch on his wrist.

For those of you who have met the other Joshua, this one would look familiar... However there were two distinct differences. One, most noticeably, there's a large scar going down the left (his right) side of his face, from above his brow down to his chin, over his eye; that eye is also very clearly blind. The other difference was the black metal collar around his neck, bearing some numbers on it. And it was... smoking?? Were those black scorch marks on his skin underneath the collar.]

Well, I've decided that perhaps now is a good a time as any to give out a public service announcement to anyone from Alpha Omega... do not try to tamper with your collars. We may be universes away and yet I'm certain that Val is still laughing at us.

[He gives a bitter smile which quickly fades into an embarrassed scowl as he turns his gaze away from the camera with his next admittance.]

... Also, I can't move.

[Major electrocution kind of took a toll on him... On top of locked up muscles he thinks he might have sprained his ankle, maybe his other wrist too. Everything was simultaneously numb and throbbing painfully...]

Isn't that a little excessive? [He was used to the convenience of the medical ward, after all. And he didn't like the thought of the white sterile walls of the hospital anyway, it reminded him too much of the station...

And have Joshua trying in vain to look around past Kairi to see where that murmur in the background came from...]

[Naminé peers into the camera, smiling faintly.]

Nami, can you make a portal?

[She's speaking to her in person of course, but it's still being recorded on camera.]

Sure.

[She extends a hand out, and the warped air sounds before a Corridor of Darkness appears before them.]

We're coming through now, Joshua.

Ahh, Namine...

[Pardon him... He knew that you were in Hinoto-Ri but he's still slightly awestruck by the fact that you're... actually here. Alive... like Kairi...

It takes him a moment to process that they're trying to teleport to him.]

Ahh, I don't need to go to the hospital... This has happened before, I'll survive...

--Too late! You're coming with us. We don't want to take any risks with anyone's health, there's no revives here.

[Kairi pops her head out of a black swirling portal that appears on Joshua's wall, stepping inside his apartment a short moment later.]

[Naminé hums an affirmative to this, stepping out of the portal before extending a hand to make a new one, leading directly to the front of the hospital.]

No revives... I suppose I'm not as used to that... [He just gives a loud sigh, as his cat, Shibuya, comes poking his head out of the bedroom, meowing at the visitors. He'd gone to hide under the bed when Joshua fell on the ground. Now he's wondering what's going on and where these people came from.

Joshua calls him over and grunts as the cat climbs onto his chest, walking over his aching body.]

Ow, ow, can't move, cut that out, cat... If you insist, Kairi, though you and Naminé will have to carry me...

[He gives a bit of a shy grin to Naminé.]

I haven't seen you in a while, you know...

[She laughs softly as she turns back to him.]

It's good to see you too, Joshua.

[She kneels next to him and offers a hand to the cat.]

Come on, Shibuya. You need to get off of him now.
