Is there some sort of database containing information about this world? Things people like us have figured out or knew beforehand. I've found scattered bits of information here and there, but something more centralized would help, don't you think?

That would be rather convenient, wouldn't it?

Especially to those who have to explain things over and over. But it'd be helpful for the newbies, too.

I for one don't enjoy not knowing what people are talking about most of the time.

I agree, although so far I haven't had much of a problem with that.

My problem's empathetic. I can't imagine I would enjoy repeating myself if I were in their shoes.

That's right. I arrived earlier today.

There's an AI named *Hyun-ae who can answer basic questions about the city. You can access her through the COMP. The library has some information, too, though not as much as you'd expect.

As for things about Philemon and Nyarlathotep... I don't think anyone's thought to make an info post about that so far, but I can try and explain what I know. I've been here since September.

I got the run down about Nyarlathotep from someone who didn't seem too enamored of either them. What do you know about Philemon?

Mostly things I've learned from the same group, actually. Philemon is the one who brought us here and can give people the power of Persona. He represents part of humanity, the part that wants to live and create things. He made a bet with Nyarlathotep over whether humanity would destroy itself or not. That's probably why he's interested in bringing us here.

He has good intentions, but from what I've heard, he's not always great at carrying them out.

Isn't that always the case?

Has anyone here ever met either of them? Besides the people who've met them in their own worlds.

Philemon speaks to everyone when they arrive, but other than that, he sent us a dream before sending some people to visit another world last month.

A lot of people who went there met Nyarlathotep.

But neither have made any appearances outside of those few instances.

It's probably wishful thinking on my end to expect there to be much information on these two. Gods can be elusive.

I don't really think they're "gods"... They're created from us and not the other way around, after all. But they're definitely powerful.

Well, besides not going out at midnight unless you want to run into monsters, it's a nice place. Other than that... Sagittarius is the industrial ward and Taurus is the red-light district.

Are those really the only two districts of note?

You asked for things to be wary of. The other districts are normal outside of the Dark Hour.

Depends what you like to do! Gemini has the mountain, Cancer has all kinds of electronics stores, Virgo has every other kind of store, Scorpio is for the arts and entertainment, and Capricorn is a big park.

A mountain, huh? Seems like the perfect place to relive my old days as a trekker.

It was more of a necessity. I live on an island. One that was very hilly and not densely populated.

Believe me when I say I've tried, but anything written becomes lost with time in this place.

Honestly, it's quite difficult for us to keep up with all of you Visitors. I'm glad we uncovered *Hyun-ae; actually, if you ever do have a question, you can attempt to bring her up. She's an AI system worked in to the COMPs, and can be accessed by pressing the speech-bubble icon.

I've never even heard of her until today.

Maybe you should try slipping some info about her in the Visitor Welcome Pack.

I typically leave the meet and greet detail to the more...amicable of the Seven. Namely, Orpheus.

No, he's not, but that's certainly an idea. Things would be much quieter if he went to the Underworld.

It sounds like your request could be fulfilled by a brochure or guidebook - that sort of thing is for sale across the city, but I agree that we need an alternative that's openly available here on the COMP network. Information deemed pertinent by your fellow visitors, for your fellow visitors, right?

I can get to work on it! Step one - may I request some questions from you, concerning what information you'd like to have compiled?

Wow! That sure is a request. I have plenty of questions. The problem is sorting out which ones would be good enough for a guide.

1. Why were we brought here?
2. Who are Philemon and Nyarlathotep?
3. What is a persona and how does one summon it?
4. Where are we? What's this city like? Any political divisions we should know of? Restaurants overburdened with rats? (That last one is a joke.)

That's all I can think of for now. Should I respond to this message again if I think of more?
