[The video feed opens on a girl with red eyes. Naturally red ones, that is. She smiles brightly at the camera and begins to talk.]

Hi, everybody! It's been a few days since I arrived, and I think I'm settled in enough to introduce myself. I'm Sasha Fyer, and I travel to different worlds to take notes on them for my job. But it wasn't a part of my job to go here... I've never been to a world that came to me first before! This is a new experience.

Anyway, I've been doing some reading up, and everything is just so... fascinating! From Personas- I don't think mine has woken up yet- to that Philemon guy to Hinoto-Ri itself- this is a cool place! And the gadgets are cool, too! Watch this! [She giggles as the COMP glasses appear on her head, and then disappear.] So cool!

How about you guys tell me a little bit about your worlds? I'm curious to hear about where the other people like me have come from. I hope to see you guys around the city! That'd be great! Anyway, I'm going to go look around the city some more. This is a big place. See ya!

[With that, she closes the feed.]

[Sasha quickly grabs her notebook and a pencil.]

Oooh, I sense a good story behind this one! Are you one of those heroes? If you "fixed" a demon problem, you just might be the kind of person my higher-ups like to hear about.~

U-Uh-- Heroes? [Looking juuust a bit more nervous now.] Well we... I guess we kind of were. We were the only ones around to stop the demons, but I'm not sure if I'm really anyone to write home about. When you think about it, I didn't even do that much...!

Oh, come on, don't be so modest. The least you can do is tell the story, even if you only watched it happen. That's what I do most of the time, anyway.

[Story time, hoo boy...]

Uh, let's see... To be honest, I didn't even know what was going on. My friend and I went to a practice exam over the weekend, and we were on our way to the subway, but the train ended up getting attacked by demons. I, uh... don't even know how we beat them really, since we didn't really have any powers. But we did...! And then, we were able to control them.

The whole city ended up getting attacked by demons though, so the government put it on lockdown. There was this organization called JP's, that seemed to specialize in that kind of stuff, so we ended up staying with them and helping them out over the week. Turns out the demons came because these aliens called the Septentriones-- you know, the stars in the big dipper? They were trying to destroy the world because of Polaris. We had to beat the star, and at the same time there was this... black, void trying to eat the world. [Visibly uncomfortable there. He still doesn't get it and he really doesn't like to think about it.]

I don't really get why Polaris wanted to destroy the world, but we learned from this guy named Saiduq how to beat it. So, we used the demons to beat the Septentriones, and then ousted Polaris from his thrown...! That's the short version of it, at least.

Ah, fascinating! I just wish I could have been there, so I could have gotten more details... but I'm sure that just this information alone will get my higher-ups' attention. Who knows; maybe, someday, one of my people will visit your world- if they haven't already!

Well hey, it's not like we haven't gotten alien visitors from outer space before. Haha, maybe they can give us all a lift back home.

H-hey, we're not aliens...! I don't know if I'd be able to get you back home though... transporting more than one person at a time gets a little tricky.

[He chuckled.] You know, I think we're technically all aliens here, so I didn't mean it in a bad way...! I'm not sure a mass-transport like that size would be a very good idea anyway.

Oh, that's right! We are kind of aliens in the "not from this world" sense... how insightful of you. But what makes you think that the ability to transport more than one person from world to world wouldn't be such a good idea?

[At the first part, he just chuckles a bit bashfully.]

Those sting things-- I mean, I don't really get it, but they kind of connect us to ours, right? And if you pull a string too tight it'll snap, or it'll get tangled if you mix it with a bunch of others. Something bad would probably happen, right?

Ooh! That's also a good idea. Something bad probably would happen. Maybe people would get sent to different worlds, or- god forbid- lost between dimensions... It happens very rarely, but it can happen.

Lost between dimensions? That can happen? [Suddenly he's a lot more unsure about the JP's transporter.]

D-Doesn't sound like it'd be very pleasant, in any case....Or that it'd last for very long...

It happens once every blue moon, but it's actually rather easily solved. If someone else tries to go to that same world- say, looking for the person who got lost- they'll kind of dislodge the person who's stuck and wind up at the destination with them. Or sometimes that person will get set free by someone going to an unrelated world entirely. It's never happened to me and I've never had anyone appear, so this is just what I've read.

Oddly, people who get stuck between dimensions don't really remember much of what happened there. The accounts don't really say much.

You say "easily," but that all sounds pretty complicated to me. I'm not so good at that kind of conceptual stuff... [Cue awkward chuckle.]

They come back though at least, don't they? So that's not too bad.

I bet the actual mechanics are pretty complicated. People still aren't quite sure how it works, whether it's through Manon displacement or some other fancy concept they're working on right now.

Yeah! There's no records of someone being permanently lost. If you wind up in the wrong dimension, you can just warp back home and try again.

Phew. I thought there was gonna be some kind of spatial cutting off or something-- your torso would end up in Tokyo and your legs could be in Brazil or something...

No way! Not even interdimensional horrors exactly lurk between dimensions. There's just a weird gap between dimensions, or something... at least, that's how we understand it.

Still, that's kind of weird though, isn't it? There's gotta be something there, right? Or something special about it. Can it really be just empty space?

It's probably not just empty space. Maybe it's a special kind of space? Even to this day, people back home are still theorizing over it.

Maybe there's some kind of intermediary galaxy and planets in stars in the space in between.

[Yes that...is totally a thing that could happen.]

But wouldn't that make it a dimension...? Ah, sometimes even the dimensions themselves aren't that well defined. I know of a building that just kind of casually slides between different dimensions and can appear in multiple places at once. It's a nice place.

Whoah. I'm not sure if that's really cool, or terrifying...

[Probably a bit of both.]

Maybe it is some kind of dimension in between though? You said they weren't that well defined, so maybe it's just a really unstable one.

A really unstable one... I like that idea! It almost makes more sense than what I was saying. Dimensional stuff gets really hard to understand after a bit...

Yeah, no kidding. I'm not even sure I understood most of the stuff I said.

[Well he did, but if he had heard that stuff from someone else, he'd have no idea what's going on.]
