[The video feed opens on a girl with red eyes. Naturally red ones, that is. She smiles brightly at the camera and begins to talk.]

Hi, everybody! It's been a few days since I arrived, and I think I'm settled in enough to introduce myself. I'm Sasha Fyer, and I travel to different worlds to take notes on them for my job. But it wasn't a part of my job to go here... I've never been to a world that came to me first before! This is a new experience.

Anyway, I've been doing some reading up, and everything is just so... fascinating! From Personas- I don't think mine has woken up yet- to that Philemon guy to Hinoto-Ri itself- this is a cool place! And the gadgets are cool, too! Watch this! [She giggles as the COMP glasses appear on her head, and then disappear.] So cool!

How about you guys tell me a little bit about your worlds? I'm curious to hear about where the other people like me have come from. I hope to see you guys around the city! That'd be great! Anyway, I'm going to go look around the city some more. This is a big place. See ya!

A world hopper, huh? We got those on occasion back in Gran Frontier. Most of them weren't really by choice, though...

Er, never mind. You seem enthusiastic about all this at least. Name's Nicholas Reeve. Most folks just call me "Nick," though.

Well, the place had a weird tendency to attract the remnants of other worlds. Nobody really knows what's going on out there, but we seem to get the stragglers. Makes life interesting, anyway. I think I remember hearing that there used to be people who went there for the hell of it in the past, though.

Looks like we're both new here, huh? Kind of a crazy situation overall.

I see... so your world was kind of like a hub for world travelers? I've been to a place like that before! Only... it was a building, not an entire world.

Oh, you're new here, too? When did you arrive? I arrived on the day of that big festival. It was a good day to travel to a new world, let me tell you that!

Of course! The people who live here must think it's normal, after all! And as for me... I've been to a lot of different worlds before, so I'm used to this sort of thing. It's just the first time a world ever contacted me first, is all.

Well obviously the people who live here are used to living here. I'm just...I didn't even know other universes were even a thing, and now I've been thrown into one face first.

Well, now you know. I'm sure you'll get used to living here eventually. Think of it as just another home.

You think so...? I'm just used to this sort of thing, I guess. I go to a lot of different worlds all the time, so I'm used to having to get my bearings in a new place with new people.

In all the places I have visited, there is only one commonality. There is only war.

Oh, so you're one of those warrior types, are you? I dunno about here, though... I guess the only war we've got here is against the demons.

Oh? [It takes her a moment to get it, and then she laughs.] Haha, don't worry! My eyes are naturally red. It's a Tensakutan thing... we have weird hair or eye colors sometimes. I also have blue contacts for worlds where that's not normal but... [Alarm spreads across her face.] Oh no! I don't think they came with me!

No need to worry! I'm sure they've got blue contacts for sale somewhere around here!

Ahhh, but they're so expensive! And they were calibrated for my eyes! Oh, I'm seriously going to have to save up... but I guess I don't really need them, considering all the different people in this world.

Did you just say you go to different worlds for a job? Because that's pretty out there, you know.

You mean like other timelines, parallel worlds and stuff? Or just different dimensions altogether?

Yep! That I do. I collect different information on events and people for the place I work for. I normally don't mention it, but since there's a lot of people from different worlds here, I figured it'd be okay.

Ah... my power isn't really specific enough to be tuned to alternate timelines and parallel worlds. It's mostly just different dimensions, as you put it.

...Other worlds? So this kinda thing's normal for ya? Hoooo boy, I'm at sea with this kinda weirdness. Guess I could answer whatever questions you have... if you'd be obligated as to least tell me what some of these contraptions are.

Yep! I go back and forth between worlds all the time. And... I'll try and answer for you what I can. I've done some reading, but I think the natives might know some stuff better than I do.

Like, ya seem to know your machinery, so what's with 'em self-propelling... carriages?

U-Uh... I don't know, the world I came from was pretty normal. It kind of had a demon problem before I left, but I'm pretty sure we fixed it!

Oooh, I sense a good story behind this one! Are you one of those heroes? If you "fixed" a demon problem, you just might be the kind of person my higher-ups like to hear about.~

U-Uh-- Heroes? [Looking juuust a bit more nervous now.] Well we... I guess we kind of were. We were the only ones around to stop the demons, but I'm not sure if I'm really anyone to write home about. When you think about it, I didn't even do that much...!
