[While Death usually sounds very calm and confident, she speaks a little faster today. Time to completely destroy her credibility in another weird town!]

So, uh, bit of a weird question... let's say you admitted your feelings to someone. Because something strange happened. And then a few days later, you realized you actually both meant it.

Which day would actually count as your anniversary?

Well, the way I see it, is that you take the day of admittance, then the day of realization, and find the middle day between those two. That's your anniversary.

Really, what you need to do is figure out which day means more to you. failing that, a compromise always works. And if not, you can always ask for the other guy's opinion.

I suspect he's just as confused as I am. Neither of us have ever really done the whole romance thing before.

Keeping Mayfield's interference out of it is probably the best plan anyway. And this way there aren't special occasions falling on the same day.

It was about a year ago now. Someone's notion of what would be fitting on Valentine's Day.

The air. The flowers they used affected a whole range of emotions. We got off mildly, all things considered.

It was. The people were wonderful, but most of what happened there was awful.

Some. It was getting quieter, toward the end. And I am awfully fond of the grandkids.

Well, they were techncially my assigned husband's actual granddaughter's assigned children. But they were family, and that was more important than overly complicated technicalities.

I had siblings before that, but getting to be grandma was a lot of fun.
