[METHOD_ENTRY_002] [VIDEO]

[Bright and early on the morning of the fifth of January, Cloche's network feed clicks on. The camera bounces with her steps as she walks down the streets of the Pisces Ward with purpose. She doesn't know quite where she's going yet, but she's clearly going somewhere. And she's very clearly furious.]

Good morning. [From Cloche's tone of voice, this is not a good morning. This is a terrible morning. This is a morning that's clearly out to ruin the rest of her day with a trashy gossip magazine.] If anyone else on the COMP Network has received a copy of the January 4th, 10AC issue of--[Here, her expression twists into one of distaste.]--"Teen Beats Magazine," I demand they delete it immediately. It is a lewd and slanderous piece of trash that besmirches the good names of no less than twelve of the Guests!

[Including Cloche herself. Oh, she's going to ring somebody's bell alright. But absolutely not in the way that the article implies.]

As for myself, I'm attempting to locate their offices to demand they take down their-- lascivious article at once. No forms of consent were given. Permission was not granted! They have no legal standing to drag our names through the mud. I absolutely won't stand for it!

[Click! Well, it's pretty obvious someone doesn't have a good sense of humor about being included on the Sexy Visitor Watch... Cloche and her, ahem, two good friends are marching up, in person, to vehemently protest the article and complain loudly to whoever runs the magazine.]

I concur that their description of you was quite crass and lewd. However, something caught my eye... you sing, yes? Might I hear you sing someday? I would like to hear some singing that is not my own for a change.

A Reyvateil? Pardon my asking, but what is that?

You transform your emotions into power... that is an intriguing ability indeed. Where I come from, there are those who can use a type of magical songs called Galdrar, but it seems to be different from what you use.

Galdrar are the magical songs that the Heron race of Laguz are capable of singing. The Laguz are those capable of changing from humans to animals and back at will. Galdrar can perform many different functions... the most common kind is healing or revitalizing. One kind of Galdr can refresh those exhausted by fighting and enable them to move again, another can restore the corrupted, and yet another could have been used to unseal a god... unfortunately, the Herons are nearly extinct. Only a few still live.

Most Galdrar would be classified as "blue magic" in your world, then. I can't think of any that work offensively.

[There's some hesitation before Sephiran speaks again, as though he's thinking about something.] I used to be able to sing Galdr, but then... some circumstances passed, and now I cannot use it. [He's blowing his cover a bit here, but does he really need to maintain it in this world, anyway?]

Thank you for your sympathy. While originally, the loss was a great blow to me, I eventually got used to it... and then, there came a time where I didn't even have the will to sing normally.
