[METHOD_ENTRY_002] [VIDEO]
[Bright and early on the morning of the fifth of January, Cloche's network feed clicks on. The camera bounces with her steps as she walks down the streets of the Pisces Ward with purpose. She doesn't know quite where she's going yet, but she's clearly going somewhere. And she's very clearly furious.]
Good morning. [From Cloche's tone of voice, this is not a good morning. This is a terrible morning. This is a morning that's clearly out to ruin the rest of her day with a trashy gossip magazine.] If anyone else on the COMP Network has received a copy of the January 4th, 10AC issue of--[Here, her expression twists into one of distaste.]--"Teen Beats Magazine," I demand they delete it immediately. It is a lewd and slanderous piece of trash that besmirches the good names of no less than twelve of the Guests!
[Including Cloche herself. Oh, she's going to ring somebody's bell alright. But absolutely not in the way that the article implies.]
As for myself, I'm attempting to locate their offices to demand they take down their-- lascivious article at once. No forms of consent were given. Permission was not granted! They have no legal standing to drag our names through the mud. I absolutely won't stand for it!
[Click! Well, it's pretty obvious someone doesn't have a good sense of humor about being included on the Sexy Visitor Watch... Cloche and her, ahem, two good friends are marching up, in person, to vehemently protest the article and complain loudly to whoever runs the magazine.]

[ Garviel looks as calm as always, when not discussing demons. ]

[Cloche, on the other hand, has completely lost her temper.]

After all, that is what is important.
[ He considers her for a moment. ]
Objectively speaking, you are beautiful, you know. However I do appreciate their comments about this were both unwelcome... and crude. I suppose they could have hired poets, but I have seen very few in my time here.

Hmph. ... they still had no business attaching my name to such a ridiculous article. It goes completely against my image! [With her temper temporarily placated, her mind is already working towards the many ways she could potentially make life difficult for these people.]

[ He will meet her eyes and ask. ]
What sort of image do you intend to project?

No matter where I am or what path I choose to walk, I am the Holy Maiden of Aqua. Not some-- teenaged fantasy. [She's still angry, but the more rational part of her--the politician that Alfman was so proud of--is beginning to take the reigns of her temper back in hand.]

They were a nuisance, at times. Constantly watching over us and getting in our way as we brought world after world to compliance. They got into brawls with the Imperial army, annoyed our commanders, and generally stuck their noses where they liked. Some cast them out of their fleets, sent them home in disgrace.
We Luna Wolves did not. Horus wanted the home systems to know the glory of our undertakings, and as such three of the remembrancers were directed to me. The Poet, Ignace Karkasy, the Documentarist Mersadie Oliton, and the imagist Euphrati Keeler.
In time, I befriended all three of them. Mersadie became my personal documentarist, Ignace became the man I went to for unvarnished truth about everything, until his death, and Euphrati and I were close friends after i saved her from a Daemon that had possessed my suboordinate in the 10th company. I was her protector, and she called me an Angel of the Emperor.
And when I befriended these remembrancers, our coverage and the understanding of those who were with us changed. People understood more of what we were undertaking, and why we did it.
I think it would be wise for you to get to know the people writing this about you, and you may be able to.... control the coverage you are getting to a degree. They will perceive you as the Holy Maiden of Aqua, rather than as... well, the way they perceived you in the initial article. You will be a person and a symbol, not simply an objectified... thing.
[ He is quiet for a moment. ]
I hope that is helpful.

It is helpful, Sir Garviel. Thank you for your words.

[ He nods his head, almost cracking a smile. Almost. ]
Let me know once you've decided the route you will take, I'm curious to see how you handle this.
