Being in a city filled with aliens on an alien planet with alien...everything else gave her little motivation to actually do this. Should she do a video introduction like she has seen others do? No, then she risks a thousand responses that amount to gawking at her.

A vocal introduction? Maybe. No, never mind, no way in Hell is she doing that. She can only imagine the awkward fumbling of words she would inevitably spew out as some poor imitation of talking.

Well. There is only one way to outreach to the masses and introduce herself while keeping some of her dignity. Comments about her typing style would be easier to deal with than comments about her species. ]

That's not what I meant. I thought it might be too much to ask of you to help me acclimate when you are having trouble yourself. I'll help you if I can but I'm not sure how much help I can be. Since I'm even less familiar with this setting, although part of the trouble you are having is the familiarity. So maybe I can help.
