Oh, they're festive enough back home. It's the place that I was in between there and here that has me worried.

Well... If anything too dangerous starts to happen, there's plenty of people here to stop it. I don't think anyone wants to let this time of year get ruined.

There's always that. Even there, we still tried to celebrate.

I did give up on making fruitcake though.

Well, it takes a while to make a good fruitcake and something always seemed to happen to disrupt that whole process.

That makes sense. I've seen what can happen if you get too distracted in the kitchen.

The real problem was that the kitchen didn't always stick around.

So far the kitchens here stay in one place.

Where cooking is concerned, anyway! I couldn't call the city as a whole 'quiet.'

If large chunks of it don't get destroyed regularly... quiet is a relative term.
