[This new guy decided to lay low for a few days and get his bearings. But now he has to just get on the network and ask. Have a confused-looking gentleman with a somewhat monotone voice and Russian accent pop up on your screen.]

I know that I'm new, but... is the weather always like this here? Or is something strange going on? Since I got here, it's been unbearably hot one day, then unbearably cold the next.

I suppose I have a lot of questions, but that's the one that really jumps out at me right now. I'm just wondering if I should be getting sunscreen or a parka...

I'm kinda enjoying the cold weather now, actually. Christmas should be snowy, right? It just seems more festive that way.

Depends on where you live, I suppose. But I'd agree with you on that. I wasn't prepared to be spending Christmas somewhere that was, ah, so far from home, though.

I think some weird time rules are applying here - I mean, it wasn't autumn back in my world when I arrived. You'll probably still get your normal Christmas if you ever go back.
