[This new guy decided to lay low for a few days and get his bearings. But now he has to just get on the network and ask. Have a confused-looking gentleman with a somewhat monotone voice and Russian accent pop up on your screen.]

I know that I'm new, but... is the weather always like this here? Or is something strange going on? Since I got here, it's been unbearably hot one day, then unbearably cold the next.

I suppose I have a lot of questions, but that's the one that really jumps out at me right now. I'm just wondering if I should be getting sunscreen or a parka...

You know, I think it might be starting to stabilize. It was going from frigid to burning hot before, but the cold days aren't so bad now, right?

...I guess it's stabilizing the wrong direction, but at least it's getting slightly consistent.

Even in the few days that I've been here, it feels like it's been getting more extreme. Let's hope we don't get frozen solid or boiled here...

I do like warm temperatures too, but not boiling. What was the climate like before it started acting up?

I think some weird time rules are applying here - I mean, it wasn't autumn back in my world when I arrived. You'll probably still get your normal Christmas if you ever go back.
