The video feed opens with Shura sitting at her kotatsu, wearing a party hat at an angle on her head.

"Happy birthday to me... I don't know my own age... Happy birthday, happy birthday, happy birthday to me..." He singing is mercifully interrupted by her sighing heavily.

"I know, age is a construct of the mind, etc., but I still would have wanted to know if I'm actually an adult yet or just pretending... not to mention it'd give me an idea how long I spent into the Vortex..." She sighed again.

"Anyway... I guess I should do something to celebrate... what do you think, Hinoto-Ri?" She thinks for a few minutes, staring dreamily out the window at the falling snow. "First snow on my birthday too... it feels like it's been years..." Finally, she looks at the watch recording her. "Guess I'll go to the arcade. If you wanna join me, head to the Growlanser Arcade in the Cancer Ward!"

The feed turns off, then on again after a few seconds.

"Yamato Hotsuin, that means you. I'm coming to get you."

Feed off.

He was genuinely surprised at this. Ever since Kaito- he had been a bit cautious when it came to bonding with others. It seemed it happened all over again anyway, even if he didn't feel the same sense of inexplicable trust and expectations in Shura as he did Kaito - or rather, had felt, or still- it was confusing.

I am not sure how birthdays are celebrated. I am aware presents are exchanged, but I have nothing for you.
