Good day everyone, and welcome to all of our newcomers! My name is Elizabeth Middleford, and I hail from Her Majesty Queen Victoria's time. If you are a Londoner around, do feel free to ask for my apartment number so you can drop by for tea. If you aren't a Londoner, feel free to ask anyways! I do love meeting new people, and I would certainly love the chance to entertain you and help you get settled into the city life. It's quite unlike any city life you've had before, to be sure!

[She clears her throat and smooths down the front of her dress a little nervously.]

There is a matter of business that I must attend to, as well, since I'm here and recording. Miss Ruri and I have been working on getting her ship Nadesico into working order to become a boarding house, and now it's ready. As of today, we are opening it to any and all ladies who wish to join. To be quite honest, I'm not sure how well-received it will be or how to manage it if some of you do decide to join, but I promise that the foundations will remain true to any other boarding house. The Nadesico will be your haven and home if you so wish it, with sisters who can support you through times of trouble, if you so need it.

[She smiles brightly.]

Thanks. I've got something important I store in the hangar. It's safe there, and it's the most appropriate place to put it. If this gets off the ground, am I going to have to store it someplace else?

Well, we certainly don't anticipate actually flying unless it's an emergency, so your item will be just fine. If we do end up flying, I'll personally see that it is taken care of.

Thanks. But I'm betting that if something has it up in the air, I'll be flying it out of the hangar myself.

Oh, it's another flying contraption, then! Well in that case, don't worry, it would certainly be a hassle to keep it anywhere else, and I would hate to inconvenience you. I'm sure if you already have it stored there that you have some prior arrangement with Miss Ruri already.

Yeah, I do. And I was hoping I could keep it there. Just asking to make sure. Never hurts to cover your bases, right?

Oh, no, it's not. It's a mobile suit -- a giant, mechanical humanoid that I can get in and pilot.
