Where I am from, the human religion says they must kill all non-humans. From what I know, all humans must follow this religion.

Something of that sort seems to be a human only attribute. I've learned about a lot of species in the galaxy. Some fight because all they enjoy is fighting. Others fight because they are beasts. We fight to protect ourselves. Mostly from humans, who fight for their God. [A rather biased view BUT HEY, society filled with propaganda.]

...but we are also taught not to fault humans for their problems. It still makes them difficult to like in the slightest, much less get along with them.

Getting along with no one seems to be a more accurate prediction. [He can't exactly help being pessimistic about it. He barely got along with most people of his own race.]
