Excuse me! This is important, so please listen to what I have to say.

Something of mine has gone missing. It's like...I guess you could call it a robotic pet? But it also does important stuff for what I do. It's round, green, and has a pair of flaps that it likes to flutter, and it moves around by either rolling or bouncing.

--Actually, wait. I've got a picture.

If you see it, can you let me know? Or try to catch it, but it's...tricky. Thanks in advance, and that's it for now.

Maybe, maybe not. What if I lent you the AGE Device to analyze? Could you copy it?

"Its possible. Does it broadcast on an odd radio or laser frequency?"

It's got a couple different frequencies in case of emergencies. It can tap into major networks, too.

"I can probably cobble something together if that's the case."

Okay, that settles it! Should I come over now, or is there a certain time you want me to stop by?

"Whenever. I can be at the Nadesico shortly."

[The feed ends. It takes Asem half an hour to get to the Nadesico, but he gets there.]

Ruri is walking up to the ship as well and waves slightly.

[Asem heads over.]

I was worried I would be making you wait. Guess not, huh?

"I was in town comparing prices on things."

Things for what we're going to try to do, or something else?

"Oh, this is for a personal project."

Oh, okay.

[He's choosing not to pry further, for now.]

Shall we board?

"Certainly."

Ruri starts up the ramp.

[Asem follows. He pulls out the AGE Device as he walks.]

Ruri walks over to an empty mecha berth and boots up the setup computer.

"Let me see the device, and see how it broadcasts."

[Asem hands over the AGE Device.]

Here you go. Be careful with it.

"Understood. Omoikane, begin scanning."

She sets it down and has her computer start scanning it to see means of broadcast and frequency.

[It won't take long to find, but what is notable is the sheer amount of memory found within the AGE Device. It contains enough memory to hold combat records for two completely different military campaigns, with room to spare.]

"So this is a military data collector?"

Yeah, but it's specialized for a single mobile suit. It takes the data and creates new parts and weapons to fit the kind of combat situations it gets caught up in.

"And how does this relate to your missing friend?"

Haro can store data, too. It's got a computer built in.

"Can the two contact each other, or do they use similar energy types?"

They contact each other. People can even use the two to communicate with each other, like a phone.
