[Miki is trying to keep a straight face but this is harder than she thought.]

...umm I think that Minami is gone. W-well no. Not 'I think'. I know she's gone since her room is occupied by someone else, so I guess she returned to our world...

[Her best friend is gone but she...she doesn't think she could leave herself just yet. Not with what she's gained here.]

I kinda need to clear my mind a bit...

[He grimaces when he watches her post, sighing as he prepares to respond. Though he's not sure how to. He hadn't really thought Minami would leave, but... well, maybe back home is where she needed to be. She can find her own happiness there.]

[He wishes again he could reach through the different strings of the varied universes and bring his other self here—the one who had grown up with her. Knows her better than he does. But since he can't, all he can provide is a familiar face.]

I'm sorry, Miki. But, I'm sure she's alright. She seems like a strong girl. [If she's similar to Minako, then Saori is sure of it.]

Um, but I'm afraid I have work tonight.

I apologize but I don't really watch anime...although we did do a lot of Karaoke...

Well, I have been neglecting my cooking skills lately. With a budget it's too easy to indulge on pre-made foods and getting lazy about that...I could use a little refresher if you feel in a teaching mood later tonight?

[She promises she won't pour an entire bottle of wine into the pan.]

Minato said he'll be coming over, otherwise I'd be heading to your apartment right now.

[Every Time I Look At Him? Wow, he's gonna think the wrong things, and she's totally realizing her own foot-in-mouth moment as she goes on. Pausing for a few seconds, Miki is unsure what to say after that, as her cheeks flush slightly red.]

That would be nice. Um...Minato offered to come over, so how if the three of us watch a TV show or go karaoking?

[They could always just talk together after that too. And the offer means a lot to her.]

[Minako is in as much of a loss as Minato, right now. She hadn't expected the girl to disappear so suddenly, even though she really wasn't close to her, like Miki was. They'd barely started to get to know each other.

But at the same time...

Well, as Minato thought, it doesn't matter anymore.]

I'm available later today if your schedule isn't full already. [Not that she's probably the person Miki wants to see, but she still has to offer.]
