You slaughter animals and eat their organs for kicks and giggles, but I'm assuming you're talking about humans here.

And there's the historical stuff about the treaties and accords but really it's because some parents don't want to deal with their children anymore, especially if they're 'problem children'.

Or if they're religious, sometimes it's part of their tithing - ten percent of whatever they own goes to God, so they extend that to their children too.

There's still good people. And those people are doing what they can to change the minds of the other people. We'll win, I think. Slowly, but surely, things will change.

That's what I told myself the first few centuries, when we were still at deforestation and pollution. Now we're down to child-organ-harvesting.

There's some parents that don't want their kids no matter what happens. I want to be one of the people who can help those kids when that happens. I'm going to do whatever I can to stop those people.

I don't think you understand how hard some people are fighting. There's people moving to intercept some of the unwinds. There's people trying to get the laws repealed. I used to go in and preach to people older than me to try to get them out of harm's way until they were seventeen and weren't in danger anymore.

I know kids who blew themselves up to try to do even a tiny amount of damage to harvest camps. I was nearly one of them. We will win. We can't afford not to. I believe in them. I believe in the people I met who I know are strong enough to make a difference. And I believe in the people who have been quiet for so long to rise up against this, and soon.

I understand enough. Everything you do? Fine and dandy, but there's only one reason why you even need to be doing it in the first place.

Humans are evil. There's no getting around it. The evil in you will always outweigh the good - and with each passing generation? You just get worse. Humans were created with the gift of choice, but time and again, you choose the lowest of all paths. As a species, you're an aberration. As the pinnacle of creation and the caretakers of all life, you're a mockery.

I'm almost sorry for those of you who have to count yourselves amongst what once passed as 'humanity'. It was never supposed to be like this.

People aren't evil. Not inherently. At least I don't think so. They choose their paths, which means that they're neither good nor evil. They have a choice, individually. It's the job of people to help other people to make the right choices.
