C'mon, Pit, use that noggin! Fictional characters can't exist alongside real people - it just doesn't make sense! We're either all real or we're all fake here.

It didn't cause trouble until after the invasion, though - I would have noticed it a lot sooner if I didn't have my hands full with Hades and the Aurum.

I see he's also conveniently left out the part where he would have stayed earthbound and goddess-less without some divine intervention.

The point is, as much as Pit likes to toot his own horn, he's always done it with some help. Without his goddess here, he's powerless to do anything about me. It doesn't matter either way at the moment, but that's something to keep in mind.

If you want a full idea of how things went down, I suggest talking to Pitooey. Much as I hate to admit, he's the least biased of the three of us.

I suggest screaming, "PITOOEY I CHOOSE YOU" into your little communicator thing. He'll show up within 5 seconds screaming about how that isn't his name.

It's the best way I can think of to summon him. He'll ignore you if you ask politely. It's like owning a cat.
