SECOND MACHINE: NEW [TEXT] EDITION
[ He's still not sure this is a good idea. However, it's something he's curious about. ]
I have a question or two, for everyone.
How many of you have recieved/awakened a Persona? How many of you haven't? I haven't awoken mine, yet. Are there people who would be willing to assist with awakening one?
Please let me know.
[ He has no idea how to persona, but this curious phenomena he saw means he's curious. And curious means network post. ]

...So far, nobody's died.
...
Sir, why are you so worried? I... I know what happens, when a man is not cautious about his place. But... certainly, others, with even less experience with the dangers of the mind than you and I, have awoken their 'Persona' and they've yet to be killed. And, should they turn on us, could they overpower us, using their power?
...I don't want to die, sir. When the scorpions appeared, there were people with Personae - and even those without - assaulting others, as though controlled.
I'm scared that someone like that will attack me, and I'll lose.[ Crossed out part? He didn't send it. It never existed, nope. Ferrus wants to survive, he wants his compatriots to survive, and even if this is just him trying to justify his curiousity, he wants to be able to have this. Even if it's just backup. ]

They're not tactically skilled, they're in love with their newfound power, and this is a weakness. Exploit it if they try to come for us. They'll rely too heavily on it, and we'll exploit their basic lack of tactical skill and ignorance of more comprehensible weapons.
We all die, Ferrus. The question is if we have lived an honorable life. And what we die -for-.

[ Ferrus can feel his pace quicken, his breathing ache. Why is he getting so riled over this? It's stupid, it's dumb. The worst part is reading over what Garviel said, again, and again: "The question is if we have lived an honorable life." Struck a chord, didn't you, Garviel. ]
...I still have my misgivings.
[ But he's not sure what to say and the techpriest feels too rebuffed to offer them without the other asking. ]
...but fine.
[ He'll still meet with Shura, just... let her know he changed his mind... It'd be rude not to go... ]

[ Quietly trying to avoid having to say any more.
Garviel, he's just riled and he's not sure what to do. You managed to stop him being riled at you, and at the same time frustrated him by taking away the thing he could have taken out his anger on.
Being told to do nothing but train and work and sleep in a setting that only reminded him of a mission, which promised excitement...
He wasn't sure what to do.
Still, though... ]

I think that you will find that strange little girl's weapons of interest. Rune, I believe. She is rude and very foolish, but if you can befriend her perhaps you can gain some insight into the principles of her strange guns.

She's not rude, she's just...I was already looking into her guns. They seem to work like las guns, with some sort of special attachment...
[ A comfortable topic, at least... her guns are interesting. She already agreed to show him them, so...
Also, that first part? Never existed, nope, not at all. ]
