Hey. I need to apologize. When we were under attack, I was too scared to do anything. All I wanted to do was hole myself up in my apartment.

I should be better than that. I'm a pilot. Fear shouldn't stop me from doing what I need to do. And to make matters worse, I took a job with the police. I could have put people in danger by not doing my job.

I understand if you don't want to trust me. All I'll say is that it won't happen twice. Not if I can help it.

You didn't notice? There were lots of people acting the same way. My - someone I know was, too.

...Oh. I, um, had my gear off. It was just making me more paranoid. I had no idea that was going on.

Probably that giant monster... I didn't reach it myself, but I heard about the fight. And after that, all the scorpions disappeared.

...Yeah, I heard about the monster. But could it really cause something like that? I mean, it only appeared the one night, right?

To be honest, it reminds me a lot of the situation back home. There were big monsters that appeared in the Dark Hour too, during the full moons.

She is, huh? I didn't realize that any of her friends from home were here.

Well, most people I've talked to don't have any of their friends here, or only one or two.
