There's a slight delay before he responds, but it's still pretty quick. ]

[ Welp. Today is just not a good day all around - Minato will delay long enough to be sure that Theo is here to mind Elizabeth, and then he'll hurry up to Saori's floor, determined not to let anything happen to her. ]

[DAMN it is Eikichi's greatest obstacle.

[Nope. She was in the middle of writing a response, but the hacking of her door is kind of a big distraction.

She immediately rushes to the table and starts pushing it, ignoring the two chairs she's knocking over. Please god don't let him come in, why oh why did she say no?]

[ It takes Minato a few minutes to get up to Saori's floor and down the hall, but he does his best to hurry - and hopefully he gets there before Eikichi hacks all the way through the door! ]

Eikichi, stop!

[ In his mind, he shifts Pale Rider to the forefront of his mind, remembering his sister's fight with Eikichi in the tournament and the effectiveness of fire. Not that he can cast any fire skills with Pale Rider, yet, but perhaps another element might work? ]

[He turns over to look at Minato laughing.]

[You know, Saori loves a good horror movie. It's strange, but she gets a thrill out of being scared. If she ends up hating horror movies after this, we have you to blame, Eikichi. Because of his stunt, she is now too shocked for words.

Getting suspended and facing her parents for what happened with the magazine incident seem small compared to this.]

[ Minato, on the other hand, is not laughing. He is really quite serious as he stares Eikichi down, and he does not hesitate as he draws his own Evoker and, well.... shoots himself in the head. In the shattering blue light, Pale Rider manifests before him, already extending its bony hand to cast Garula in an effort to push Eikichi further down the hall, away from Saori. ]

[He moves back from the force of the wind and it tears away at part of his clothing. Okay NOW he's pissed and puts the axe on the floor...]

[The bluish energy of a Persona appears below him, and Baron Samedi shows up.]

[It casts Mudoon on him, the dark circle swirling around Minato threateningly. Remember how that got your sister? Now there's barely any chance for him to miss. And while you're out....well he still has that axe nearby.]

[ Except the attack does absolutely nothing useful to Minato, and although it hits, he shrugs it off as if it hadn't been cast at all, Pale Rider undeterred as Minato directs it to follow the wind up with a Bufula.

As he does this, Minato keeps moving forward, aiming to put himself between Eikichi and the scraps of Saori's door. ]

[Saori sits on the floor, still in shock. Good thing too, because she would have attempted to stop the fighting between them otherwise.

Don't get her wrong, she's grateful...so grateful to Minato for defending her. (This makes it the second time she's been saved by the Arisatos.) But this isn't right. It's her fault he's angry. She pushed him to be like this. If anyone should be taking responsibility for Michel, it's her.

And yet, she can't move.]
