An armored figure glowers out over the Hinoto-Ri COMP network

"I found the actual combat skills displayed recently at these so-called persona fights somewhat lacking. You may understand how to use your sorcerous.... things, but if you need to learn how to fight with bullet, blade, mind and hand, seek out Cerberus. I shall instruct you on how to not completely embarrass yourself when asked to fight."

[... don't tell him you're more stubborn than he is.] I get not wanting to sugar-coat it--learning how to defend yourself is difficult enough as it is when both Master and student are cooperative-- but no one wants to learn from someone that insults them before they've stepped through the door.

[Really; he gets the intent. He does. He's a fighter--he's better with his Keyblade than with magic. But the delivery really needs work.]

[... ah...

... ... definitely more stubborn than he is.]
I could be wrong, but I'm not sure that's what people need here.

[He pauses to think, trying to figure out a way to say this without it coming across as a lecture.] ... For me, at least, a Master should be strict but fair, and know how to adapt his teachings to meet the needs of the various students. They need to know how to be patient, since one student might not have the learning curve or strengths of another.

[He pauses, and looks thoughtful.] Based on what you said you could do, you have a lot to teach anyone willing to learn.

That's... a long time. [Okay, his respect just went up a notch.

He's just going to be nodding.]
No kidding. If you're lucky, you'll only wind up injured. Death isn't even the worst that can happen when you're caught off-guard.

[From that stand-point, a few insults to test tempers... makes sense, even if he still doesn't fully agree with it.]
