[It's been bothering him more and more lately, even though he's tried to push away his old memories. It doesn't seem to matter here, but... he still has to ask. He's just glad there's an anonymous text function on this thing.]

So I've been wondering. Does being a guy or girl change anything in your world? Like, do they get treated differently? Do some people not want one or the other? What do they do if they get a kid of the gender they don't want?

Don't get stupid and start flame wars or something here. I'm just asking.

differs per country actually. theres hellholes like china where it makes a whole world of difference. like if you get a girl your whole family shames you for it. means theres a 50% chance of being shamed so thats kinda a raw deal for everyone.

it aint as bad in texas. i hear theres some prejudice that girls cant bbq their steaks as well as dudes but i aint ever seen that in action. pretty sure bbq skills are defined by practice not chromosomes.

idk i think its bullshit. i think its gotta be the same in every country and people should stop being pissy about that sorta thing. who gives a fuck what your gender is? ive seen some hella manly girls and some hella feminine dudes. all cool people. they be dope.

man. sometimes i think they oughta spend a day stuck in the gender they hate. and then be harassed by a fucking endless line of assholes just like them.

Yeah. And on the internet or in an MMO, no one knows what gender you are IRL. That helps a little, though not for the people offline.

That's one of the reasons I played a male character. I think. I can't really remember.

playing a male character is easier. which says something about sexism in videogames i guess. but whatever.

And they get better outfits, too. They make more sense.

sometimes the ladies get better skills. but it depends on the class you wanna play as. and which game youre even playing.

but yeah. game mechanics aside its still easier online.

Yeah there's no difference in the one I play for skills between genders, it's just cosmetic.

People are dumb.

It's hard to find those people sometimes though. The good people, I mean.

just the fact that you have to go out and find good people is goddamn bullshit. when you think about it.

everyone should be good people.

but. yknow. bigots are convinced theyre good people too. that being assholes is better for everyone in the long run. im pretty sure theyre forgetting that people can make their own fucking decisions.

Those kinds of people are just selfish. They only think of the ways things would be better for them.
