bakegarasu: (brooding like a demon)

video;

[Otoha hasn't really noticed what's going on around the city. It's not like he's not usually honest about most things anyway. But tonight has him sitting on a rooftop, staring out at the city. He's asked this question before, in a different place, but he still wants answers. He's never found an answer that's satisfied him.]

Why do people think that killing people is wrong? Sometimes it's the fastest solution for a problem. Yeah, people will be sad, but they'll get over it. It's kind of a pain when people get so upset whenever it's brought up.

... Johnny, you're not allowed to answer. I know your answer.

Whoever kills them, it's still wrong!

[Sigh...]

Have you even tried non-lethal solutions to your problems? Have you ever considered that just maybe killing people might cause more problems then it solves?

Well maybe you should start. Just because you were brought up to be violent doesn't mean you have to stay that way.

I guess that counts as progress....

But you still shouldn't be killing people at all.

The problem is that killing someone is something you can never take back. And it affects everyone that person knew.

Yeah, but if you do something like bump into someone, you can apologize. If you break something, you can either fix it or replace it.

If you kill someone, they're dead. nothing you do or say will help.

Ugh!

Look, this isn't complicated. Killing people is wrong. It's common sense.
pretty_pink_ribbon: (You'd say just what you pleased)

[personal profile] pretty_pink_ribbon 2013-09-13 01:58 am (UTC)(link)
Um, it's common sense where a lot of people grew up, or you wouldn't be asking about it. You said people were getting upset about it.
pretty_pink_ribbon: (Without the pretty pink ribbon)

[personal profile] pretty_pink_ribbon 2013-09-14 01:24 am (UTC)(link)
You mean you don't get why people are upset when someone they know gets killed? Don't you have anyone you care about?
pretty_pink_ribbon: (You'd say just what you pleased)

[personal profile] pretty_pink_ribbon 2013-09-15 04:53 am (UTC)(link)
[Okay, now she's just confused. It sounds like he already has an answer to the question he asked.]

What part do you not understand?
pretty_pink_ribbon: (Your muscles would bulge underground)

So?

Just because something is temporary, that doesn't make any less real. Or any less important!

It doesn't have to matter in the end if it matters now!

[It really is. She's beginning to wonder if he's messing with her.]

Because whether something matters now or mattered before or will matter then...

The point is that it still matters.
