I received a request from Caroline today. It seems she wants to know about people who have special eyes or sight, but...

[There's a pause before she begins again, her voice carefully diplomatic.]

I understand that talking about these kinds of abilities might be difficult, so if people would rather contact me anonymously or discuss it privately, I don't mind. [Especially when her own power is what it is...]

I just have a few questions, so it shouldn't take very long. Thank you in advanced.

[If he knew better, he would have realized his red eye (and arm) does release tons of power when he uses his strongest spell, but...

He didn't know any better, so he just tilts his head.]

Do you... know if there is anything special about your arm, then? Besides its appearance, I mean.

[He looks at his arm, as if he's looking at it for the first time. Come to think of it, quite a few people even in his homeland asked about it...]

[He brings his arm up, taking a look at it before looking up at Aoi.]

Different. [He seems to think a little about this but he doesn't really comment about it.

Normally, he probably would have moved on with the conversation--worse yet, he may have just walked away. But he was reminded that things were different in this world, and he needed to fix his habits.]

Why do you ask for eyes with powers?

It's a request of me, actually. Caroline in the Velvet Room asked me to give some questions to people who have powers related to their eyes.
