I received a request from Caroline today. It seems she wants to know about people who have special eyes or sight, but...

[There's a pause before she begins again, her voice carefully diplomatic.]

I understand that talking about these kinds of abilities might be difficult, so if people would rather contact me anonymously or discuss it privately, I don't mind. [Especially when her own power is what it is...]

I just have a few questions, so it shouldn't take very long. Thank you in advanced.

[And for those who aren't in the habit of using the network or otherwise thought they would escape Aoi... People who have eyepatches or otherwise unusual looking eyes may find themselves approached by her.]

The feed snaps on to reveal Desco, her red eyes glowing slightly with excitement and the concentric circles of her pupils expanding and constricting.

"Desco has seventeen eyes! Do you want Desco to tell you about them?"

[Oh. That certainly seems like it would count.]

Ah... Yes, if you don't mind.

Yaaaay! Desco will just get right down to it.

"Okay so Desco's two red eyes glow when she is really excited and they have these neat circles instead of just normal pupils! The rest of her eyes are all this pretty gold color, and Desco has one in her forehead, one on each ear, three down her torso, two on each arm - one each on her wrists and one each just below her shoulders, one each on her thighs, two on the back of her tentacles, and one on the side of her tentacles that faces her body!"

As she says this she points to each eye with a crimson talon. And, yeah, it does seem that two of her eyes could be mistaken for earrings if you weren't paying attention.

"Also, Desco can do this!"

With that, she starts to blink sequentially, nictitating membranes flashing sideways over each of her golden eyes in a wave running down her body, starting with her forehead and ending at her thighs.

That's... That's quite amazing.

[Forgive her, she's still in a little shock from seeing something so... alien.]

"One day, Desco's hard work will bear fruit and she will be able to shoot beams from her eyes! Until then all Desco can manage is making them light up. Oh! And Desco can do this!"

With that, she moves in close to the camera so that her red eyes fill the video feed, and the concentric circles in her eyes suddenly expand, turning her eyes into pits of blackness shot through with red spirals softly glowing with a hellish red radiance.

[There's a mild flinch there. This is all kind of horrifying, even if it's harmless, and although she's trying to keep her composure she just can't quite hide the fact that she is somewhat unnerved.]

I... I see.

I suppose you really embrace this... ability of yours, don't you?

Desco pulls back from the COMP and grins, showing off her mouth filled with shark teeth.

"Yes! Daddy always told Desco that the ability to observe your surroundings is important, and that is why he gave Desco so many eyes!"

"Yes! Desco is a living weapon created from demon DNA!"

Striking her best dramatic pose.

"Behold, mortal! Before you is the ultimate culmination of Daddy's genius, Desco! She who is both the Legendary Final Boss and the Ultimate Little Sister!"

[Obviously she wasn't human, but just putting it like that so lightly!]

[ And there is one Jiyu Nanohana just wondering around, holding her bright red heart eyepatch with a frown, uncertain as to what to do with it. At least, before she hears a voice. ]
