[An odd post from Miyako, especially to anyone who knows her. But she have her own reasons for making this post, as always.]

Well, it's not really so much that we met and grew close... we're related, just not in a very typical way. It's kind of hard to explain in a way that makes sense. The best way I could think of putting it is that we're connected, like actually really connected in a special way and can pick up each others feelings and know where each other are and stuff, kind of like twins but deeper? But we don't share a mother or anything like that.

A bond deeper than a twins'?

[While the possibility exist, it surprised her a little to hear there's an actual case in Hinoto-Ri.

As a twin sister, she knows very well what her connection with Yamato is. If this person's relationship is potentially deeper...]

In a sense, you two are like two halves of the same soul?

Actually, that's a perfect way to put it! We make each other whole, both literally and figuratively.

Completely. There's been a few times that we've been taken away from each other in recent years, and it's kind of like getting one of your limbs chopped off; weird, alien, uncomfortable, like a big important part of you is missing.

[Kairi has a lot of expertise on the 'what if she died' front, having come from a torture facility previous to Hinoto-ri. Some of the times they've been taken away from each other has been through death.]

[Unlike Kairi, Miyako only experienced losing Yamato once. She only had a brief moment to feel that emptiness before she arrived in Hinoto-Ri, but it's hard for her to forget how it feels.

But to mention it means admitting to the emotional damage.]

But you two still reunited in the end.

We did! And I'm eternally grateful, because this isn't really an opportunity I'd have back home.

I'd like to think that with a strong bond you can never really be taken away from each other for too long.
