[The pause before recording and the view wobbles, as though the person using the watch doesn't have the first thing about cameras or recording devices. Which he doesn't.]
...Hello! My name is Morgan, and I'm new to this Outrealm - I mean, to this city! It's a beautiful city, by the way. I've heard a little bit about what's going on from the government workers, but there's a lot that I'm curious about. Like this "COMP." How does it work? Being able to talk to people over long distances seems amazingly valuable, tactically speaking. That is if I really am speaking to someone. It's still strange talking to myself but actually expecting other people to listen--
Sorry, I'm getting ahead of myself again. There's something more important I was wondering about. I heard that we all have a "Persona" and it's supposed to be something that represents us, right? Do I still get one if I don't know myself? You see, I have amnesia, so if this Persona thing knows a lot about me I really want to meet it.
Thanks in advance if you can answer my questions! I don't mind if you can't, though. I just think it's friendly to introduce myself when I'm in a new place.
Oh and, Mother... or any of the other Ylissean Shepherds! If anyone else is here, I think meeting up would be a good idea too.

You wouldn't happen to have an older sister, too, would you?
[But why would someone ask that first?]
The question doesn't seem that weird to him, because he's used to people knowing him when he doesn't remember them, and not remembering the people he should.] Actually, yes! Does that mean you know Lucina?
A while back I think we got each others' memories for a little bit. I've never actually met her. [That said, of course, she is definitely interested in doing so.]

Doesn't mean it's not absolutely bizarre from his perspective. Pity this technology didn't exist back in his world; it would have made things a lot easier.]
I shouldn't think you'd be excluded. It's not like we all know everything about ourselves.

[Because like heck Fumi's teaching you herself. Merit system, baby. Figure it out.]

As for the voice and video functions themselves, they're transmitted via radio waves between units. Each COMP acts as a receiver for these waves, picking them up and converting the information contained within into a usable form understandable to the human eye and ear. An electronic filter is employed to separate out unwanted interference, an amplifier to increase the signal's power, with the desired information separated out by demodulation.

Morgan?

[Morgan isn't surprised, but he does sound pleased.] I heard you were here, but it's good to see you. Especially since you aren't even close by! This machine really is amazing, isn't it?
(video)
... I'm glad to see you, too. [ Let her just back track for a minute... ] Have you already talked to the others, then?

CRAP I AM SO SORRY I DIDN'T SEE THIS also video

It's me!
[...now what does he say? it's probably a good idea to be polite to his own mother's stalker, but for that very reason, smalltalk seems awkward.] Lucina told me you were here. Er... how've you been?
[Yep. Awkward.]
no subject
Well enough, for being used as a pawn in some scheme that holds no value for me.
[good? Evil? Whatever, whatever. Who cares when she could be stalking your mom instead?]

HOLY CRAP HOW DID I EVEN MISS THIS
Anyway, that's definitely Morgan's mom appearing on that video screen. She seems surprised. Or concerned. Concernprised. ]
Morgan?
[ Well, yes, it's obviously Morgan. But more importantly- ]
Morgan, quickly, am I still your mother!? Is Chrom your father?
no subject
[wait, she sounds pretty concerned. And if Lucina hadn't already filled him in what she just said would be concerning, but now he knows why she has reason for confusion.] Don't worry, I'm the same Morgan you know and love. ...I hope, anyway! Lucina told me about the different world problem.

It was a moment that felt like it lasted weeks (at least two) but only took a heartbeat.]
You're not...Morgan Morgan. Are you? I mean, you're Morgan, you just said you're Morgan, but, er... [The worst part is that he knows the answer already, deep down inside, hence the lack of, "What sorcery is this???" Except more Owained. This is called hope. Hope that he's wrong. It's a precious, fragile thing, a proverbial dove struggling for flight.]

Morgan Morgan, that's me!
...But still not the Morgan you were probably expecting. Hey, Owain.
