Greetings, good morning, salutations, et cetera. My name is Doctor Owen Harper and I just wanted to say hello.

I'm in no way new, so save your breath and don't try to give me the big spiel, I just know I haven't put my face out there yet and that's not the greatest idea when you're a doctor.

Doctor-patient trust and all that.

I've recently started on with the hospital here, so I'm just here to let you know which face to look for.

"I'm not sure I would call it a problem. I was raised with roughly half my blood replaced with them. It makes going to a standard doctor somewhat problematic."

"Understandably so. Well, I'd be more than willing to take a look or help you out if you ever need it. Discretion guaranteed, of course." He pauses to jot something down. "And a name wouldn't hurt."

"Ruri. Ruri Hoshino. And thank you, I'm mostly used to the base issues caused, but blood transfusions, or not having to threaten to have Omoikane shoot someone who panics when seeing my blood is silver tinted is always problematic."

"Huh...you don't say. Well, it's nice to meet you, Ruri. Has anyone been drawing your blood since you got here? It's your choice, but with a condition like that, it wouldn't be a bad idea to start a bit of a store just in case you do need blood sometime."

"There is equipment to replicate the nanomachines here on my ship. My blood type is simply B."

"Well then, I don't think you've got a problem. B is easy enough to come by. Do you do something here that's likely to get you in a position were you'll need a transfusion? Just out of curiosity, might need to know if I should expect some 2am call or whatever."

"There was an incident where a demon got loose on my ship, but other than that not really. I just work with computers for the most part. I'm usually in bed before 2am."

"Good, I need my beauty sleep after all. Well, Ruri, don't hesitate to call me if another demon ever attacks you or what have you. It's not like I've got much else to do around here but patch people up."

"If you'd like I can find some recreational activities. Most people tend to get injured in waves with long periods of quiet, generally to go with the quiet vs. insanity that happens here."

"Huh...my idea of a good schedule. What recreational activities come to mind, exactly?"

"There is a public pool that opened, a visitor like us has opened a drinking establishment, there is a convenience store that has opened around a series of books that seem devoted to humiliating a few of the more established visitors."

She ponders a bit.

"Things of that nature. I've been working on compiling things that we visitors do in case we need to band together."

"Makes sense..." He thinks about it a moment. Those all sound like things he should keep in mind, especially things like a pool that he didn't get to use all that much.

However, one mentioned stands out the most.

"Did you say drinking establishment? Exactly where would I find that one, out of curiosity?"

"Taurus district. It looks like a warehouse. I've really only been there when it was not operating but its run by a visitor."

"A;right, then. I'll probably check it out next chance I get. Well, on my off day, anyway. Being drunk on the job makes it kind of hard to do it right, plus it's frowned upon. Thanks for telling me about it."

"You are welcome. I know its a thing that many adults enjoy and this place can be hard to get a feel for."
